The owner is so rude & so meant. Yesterday I did change oil and after finished he said I had to fix this that this. I took some to fix but they did not give me the new one all. I asked the owner, he was mad at me. so sad.Please thinking again 100X before come there!!!And be careful they give you very high price. Check price first before say yes to fix with them. I have to pay almost 100 for cabin filter n light bulp and all were not new one. I decide not coming there anymore!!!
Don't trust this auto if you are not loosing money lots and they are fake super duper lying !!!!

I had a great experience getting my wheel alignment done here. The younger team at the storefront is clearly learning but remains very professional, courteous, and eager to help. The owner, who manages the rest of the business, is extremely knowledgeable and ensures everything runs smoothly. Plus, I got a pretty good deal on the service. It’s a perfect mix of experience and fresh energy. Highly recommend!

My review is mostly on oil change and it’s overdue.
I have been coming here about 10 (prob more) years for, mainly, oil changes and I don’t see myself going anywhere else.
I always appreciated their honest and sincere work. Each time I go, they do a thorough inspection on my car and yet never pushed me with any unnecessary work. If they found an issue, they explained to me what the issue is with great details, honest recommendations and a price quote.
Thank you for always taking a great care of my car!

Rude, condescending, unprofessional, no etiquette, shady! Where do I stop?
Ordered tires from tirerack and had it shipped here. I myself had to call them 2 days after they received the tires and had to set an appointment but the earliest available time was 6 days later at 12pm. On the day of the appointment which is a Tuesday btw, came in an hour earlier with my wife to drop off the car and told them that she will be picking it up later whenever they are done. Instead of greeting us with a smile and showing appreciation for my business, the angry Asian guy (see pic) at the counter starts lecturing me on the definition of appointment!? Wow! Who does he think he is? I reminded him a second time that they do not have to work on it right away and that my wife will come pick it up later whenever they finished so they don't have to rush. He then tells me that they don't have any parking and proceeded to ask me and my wife if we were going to the doctor and made an appointment, would I go there earlier? UNBELIEVABLE!! I'm early not late for Christ's sake! You work at the counter of a dirty auto shop and you are comparing yourself to a doctor? What a joke!! At this point I'm done with him and his rambling and told him I want my tires back so I can go somewhere else. As I'm loading the tires into my wife's car I guess he heard my conversation with my wife and he rushed out of his hole and starts screaming profanities at me tell me to get the F out!! Wow!! Napoleon complex or what?
People, do yourself a favor and read some of the bad reviews about this shady business. Too bad I only found out afterwards. They have shady business practices like putting oil on your drive belts so they squeak in order to upsell you on repairs. Read for yourselves! DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

California Auto Center takes care of my vehicle and my business in a contientious and forward thinking way. Thank you Po and California Auto Center!

They told me on the phone that a front wheel aliment was all my car needed. When I got there told me I needed to give them more money for an all wheel alignment. Don’t trust them at all.

i went in for an oil change. they charged me extra just because its a luxury car, then i was told i needed cabin air filter and engine air filter but she could not give me difinte price. she said may be $70-80. Then i noticed the receipt says there is an oil leak and cover under hood is missing. When i asked what oil leak is that, no answer given. Then I asked what about the missing cover, she told me is loose. when i talked to another person, he asked the mechanic and found out its not my car.i took the car to another mechanic, there is no oil leak. they always tried to sell you things that is not needed.the woman cashier is not knowledgable. i will not go back there.

I was extremely pleased with my experience here. Po was honest, took time to diagnose the issue with my vehicle, and provided me with repair options. His pricing was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend this shop to others!

Beware of their coupon scams and communication!! Total disappointment! Customer service and communication is poor. I made an appointment for a wheel alignment and when I arrived, the owner told me that they do not do 2 wheel alignment and requested extra cost to what their Groupon coupon has to offer! The coupon took over 24 hours to generate and didn't even specify details and exclusions of service! I don't understand why he didn't bother to explain to me prior to making an appointment, which led to frustration when I arrived. What was worse was that he said I'm arguing with him when I wasn't. I asked the owner if it seemed like I was arguing with him in response, and his response was that I shall leave because he only services to the right person?!!! He doesn't even bother to explain. No wonder this business have appointment times available anytime because they're not getting much business!

Found this shop through Groupon when I bought two synthetic oil changes for $88 which is quite the deal. After changing my oil, they told me that my engine had a leak. They diagnosed and fixed it for less than $400. They told me to bring my car back another day to replace my rear shocks which were leaking. Came back today for an oil change and to replace rear shocks. They told me that my car also needed a transmission flush and tire rotation. Which I agreed to. Then they said that I also needed to replace something on my front wheels. Which I also agreed to. I was happy to pay $1200 for all this work done, especially on the Peninsula. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is polite and honest. I had been going to the same mechanic for 7 years before this shop. Although I won't be living in the Bay Area much longer, they are my new mechanic.
