“Sam’s clinic is THE BEST. Had such a great experience with our little terrier, Indy’s hip surgery. They care so much and are very easy to work with. We are so happy with the results. Big thank you to the whole team. Highly recommend.”

“Cat Clinic is the BEST! My cats have been coming here for a long time. Dr David Innes took such good care of my old kitty until the end. My new cat is also a patient of the clinic, I would take her no place else. Staff is also wonderful and kind. Sure, at times they get pretty busy, but I have never felt neglected. I would hope that before someone come on social media to criticize, they actually contact the clinic and discuss the issue.”

“Dr. Lommer and the staff at Aggie's Animal Dental Center are the best! There are not many board-certified veterinary dentists in the Bay Area (literally a handful) and we were so lucky to have gotten an appointment here. Our 13-year-old Pomeranian, Coco, has been to so many vet clinics in our attempt to find her high-quality specialized care. She has several health issues, including a collapsed trachea, heart murmur, and elevated liver enzymes, on top of severe periodontal disease. She had a previous anesthetic cleaning before so we initially thought she could get her teeth cleaned at a regular clinic again. This unfortunately turned into a huge fiasco after a different vet could not intubate and even thought she had a throat tumor. Even though the tumor was ruled out, we were extremely hesitant to take her back to a primary clinic and started seeking out specialty dentists. The first specialty dentist we took her to quoted us nearly $10k and full mouth extractions, which we were understandably not thrilled about. This clinic ended up referring us to yet another clinic due to scheduling conflicts, with their first consult being 3 months out. Meanwhile, Coco's teeth were worsening and causing her to cough a lot - we felt TERRIBLE that she was in pain and we couldn't do anything to give her relief sooner. After frantically researching, I found Aggie's and miraculously they were able to squeeze Coco in for a consult that same week. This was the first indication that we had found somewhere special - Aggie's truly cares for animals and will go the extra mile to make sure your pet is seen and taken care of.Dr. Lommer was attentive, transparent, and compassionate during the consult and answered all of our many questions with expertise. It is evident that she is the best in her field and we appreciated the effort she put into studying Coco's medical records from half a dozen other vet clinics to truly understand Coco's health. As a parent of an elderly dog, I get very anxious leaving Coco for any reason, let alone for a major surgery. We walked out of the consult feeling reassured that Coco would be in good hands. Dr. Lommer also prescribed antibiotics in the meantime to keep Coco's tooth infection at bay, which we were so thankful for (other clinics had told us there was nothing they could do). The cherry on top was that Aggie's estimate was significantly lower than the other dental clinic and they also accepted Coco's previous labwork instead of requiring a recheck. We dropped Coco off in the morning on the day of the procedure and Dr. Lommer made sure to give us updates every step of the way (when Coco was put under anesthesia, when x-rays were taken and if there were any changes, how the procedure was going, and finally when Coco was waking up). Even though Coco needed 13 extractions, had some complicated root fractures, and was under anesthesia for much longer than anticipated, we felt at ease with Dr. Lommer's consistent updates, knowing also that there would be a board-certified anesthesiologist on staff to help monitor the procedure. We are so grateful to everyone at Aggie's for taking such good care of her!The 5-star service doesn't stop after the appointment - Dr. Lommer provided detailed medical notes to help us get the most out of our insurance claim. Coco is already making a quick recovery at home and we can finally rest assured that her teeth won't bother her anymore and we will have many more years with her. We highly recommend Aggie's to any pet parents seeking quality specialized oral surgery and/or dentistry needs. We have been through so many health scares with Coco that the higher price is completely worth the peace of mind to know that our fur baby is in the best hands. Dr. Lommer, we cannot thank you and your team enough for what you do! You guys truly are heroes and even though we hope we never have to see you again, we are forever grateful that Coco had such amazing care at Aggie's!!”

“I was referred here after my dog had an eye infection and my primary vet couldn't see him right away. My little buddy received the best possible care by a friendly caring staff! Had such a good experience I'd consider breaking up with my primary vet. I'd rate them as 5 stars too.”

“Outstanding. Dr. Steele was a rock during one of the most difficult occasions my children and I have experienced. Caring, professional, thoughtful, and genuine. If you are unfortunate in having to contemplate and arrange a final goodbye, I couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

“Really love this vet! We've been taking our 3yo cavapoo for 2 years and recently had our new puppy join Camino Alto's care. For our 3yo, Camino has been there to provide routine vaccinations, preventative care and gland care. In the last year he was diagnosed with pancreatitis after a messy weekend. Thankfully, he got fluids in time & new diet immediately. For the past 9 months Camino has helped us monitor his levels and recommend low fat diets - effectively dropping his "metric" from 2000 to 400, where 200 is the normal. Our new puppy got all her vaccinations, spayed and appropriate after-care at Camino (she LOVES everyone there). Camino has also helped us navigate Giardia. Neither of our dogs have a fear of the vet because of how great everyone is! Staff is friendly, vets are caring and great at taking care of our babies”

“Not only are the vets here wonderful for cats, making observations about their personalities, they are also great with people and have to be with a lot of finicky cat people. My teen recently got frustrated as we adopted a brand new rescue kitten. She was convinced that the fur baby had "roundworms" just like our 5yo cat used to have. He didn't correct her, just gently suggested that the medication he was prescribing was for tapeworm, for both he eventually said. Only later did she realize her mistake and that the medication was correct... so she got to realize it in her own time... I certainly am not that skilled... we would have gotten into it, possibly bickering about who is right... The other point is that the atmosphere of the clinic, 1970s unchanged, is one of the last bits of old Mill Valley, and I love that. I like the idea that his son will carry it on even when dad retires I hope. Sweet people. Even if I move I will still bring my cats here. You can also consult his son about poison arrow frogs and reptiles, as he is a very knowledgeable animal lover in general. I was there one day when a sweet woman was picking up her cat's remains and grieving, and again, like people have said, there was such an empathy and a kindness from the staff as she grieved and talked about her little best friend and all the good care they had given him over the years... I can't even imagine what it will be like to lose my little familiar.... but I imagine they will be kind in breaking the news... Okay last thing, in an emergency I took my cat to a clinic out of town, male cat with crystallizations..., and they recommended all kinds of unnecessary stuff... with a very high price tag, and Dr. Innis was able to cut through the bs and tell me, oh that's a fancy antibiotic but you can just do this and your cat will be healed. Gold! My bill went from 655 to about 150. He gives what is medically necessary and doesn't pad anything. Better for the people, the cats and the pocketbook. Refreshing and I love that!! I think they are up there with the Bay Area best... and they have earned my respect, many times over.”

“This entire team couldn't be any nicer! They patiently answered all our questions when we brought in our unwell kitten, including my very talkative daughter's concerns! And they also provided me for extra meds at very short notice when we ran out. Gems!”
