My daughter does not speak/understand English so I was unsure if it made sense for her. That said, it's still SO much fun and she definitely still enjoyed it. She's 17 months old and daycare was closed for the holidays so she was looking for indoor activities! While the times don't work for us to be regulars, we will definitely look to do drop-ins when daycare is closed.”
“This gift shop in downtown Sausalito is one of the better stores, featuring local souvenirs with "Sausalito" emblazoned on them, and also fun products from around world like Studio Ghibli stuff and Adventures with Tin Tin books and gifts! It's a BIG store -- take some time to check out all the nooks of this shop! Prices ranges here depending on what item -- but there's something for everyone here. Staff are not intrusive and generally will service you at the check-out counter.”
“Very nice and small arcade! With a selection of 2 Chunithm machines, 2 Mai Mai Murasaki machines, the old DDR, Dance Rush, Street Fighter, 2 Mario Kart machines, a hockey table, a basketball hoop game, the punching test machine, and a WACCA cabinet. As a huge CHUNITHM fan, I've been looking for a cabinet that is online so I can save data on my Nime card. All of their games are online so I can finally start my process on my international version! One play on the Chunithm machine is $1.50. A very good price for 3 songs. They clean and keep their machines well kept. The Mario kart wheel wasn't as loose and difficult to use in the character selection compared to other arcades and the Chunithm machine's slider was smooth AF.There's also a shop of collectibles and toys in the back for any kids. There's a lot of cute charms I saw and if you're into POP figurines, there's several there.I'll definitely come back here for my Chunithm itch. :)”

248 Clement St, San Francisco“Come here for a quick gift to bring a fancy hipster toy to your next young kids birthday party. Expect to pay high prices, but in return, you get fancy packaging that feels good in your hands, as you marvel at the extra 5 minute effort the clerk spends to wrap your gift and stamp it with custom letters with the name of the recipient. The store is a joy for parents, but honestly like any fancy boutique you get concerned bringing your little ones in tow. This is a high brow gift shop, not Toys R Us.”

63 Wentworth Pl, San Francisco“Ying Hobbies & Toys it's the hidden gem you never knew you needed! My wife stumbled upon this treasure while on a quest for Gunpla goodness, and boy, am I glad she did. Tucked away in a cozy spot, Ying Hobbies & Toys might play hard to get at first, but once you lay eyes on its bounty of plastic wonders, you'll be hooked. The store might be small, but it's bursting at the seams with an array of model kits that'll make any Gundam fan's heart skip a beat. Seriously, choosing just one model feels like trying to pick a favorite child - impossible and bound to hurt someone's feelings. But fear not, the guy running the place is pretty helpful. With his guidance, navigating through the sea of model kits becomes a breeze! Oh and the pricing is super fair specially for all the cool stuff you can find. So, if you're a Gundam enthusiast or just someone who appreciates the art of model kits, do yourself a favor and pay Ying Hobbies & Toys a visit. Trust me, it'll quickly become your go-to spot for all things Gunpla. Happy building, fellow plastic yelp warriors!”
“Stopping in here was a highlight of our vacation! Rob is a wizard and really captured the kid’s interest and attention. His patient prodding and encouragement kept everybody entertained for way longer than I thought possible. Oh yeah, the puzzles are fantastic - we bought a few and have yet to get board! Excellent stop!”
“What a sweet and wonderful group of lady's running this store. You'll find everything you need for toddlers, which is especially hard about 4 years old. In between baby and kids clothes/shoes. Also the shoes I bought my son were not cheaply made Nike's that break through the toe within a month. Great stuff!”

3545 California St, San Francisco“One of the nicest places in the city! They moved ailes in a different direction, and there are a lot more supplies and items to buy. It is also a great store to get greeting cards and toys and cleaners. Great for families!”
“This store is a magical wonderful with great gifts. It has something for everyone. I love the great selections of toys, gifts and antiques. Susan has curated a great collection.”

3253 16th St, San Francisco“Super7 has become one of my absolute FAVORITE purveyors of plastic goodness within recent years. The Supersize and Ultimates lines especially have won my business forever!”
“Daisi was super helpful with installation of car seat. Informative, knowledgeable and flexible with her schedule, she also gave us her contact info in case we had questions in the future.”
“Mostly blind boxes. Docked 2 stars for that, but maybe people love that? So I added one back.
I bought a few woot bear stickers. Woudlnt mind if they added more of their own art items.”

39 The Embarcadero Suite 146, San Francisco“Nice big shop right on the pier. Friendly staff and a large selection. I love that you can get little souvenir tee shirts and clothes for your bear, but my kids aren’t really the souvenir type so we got Pokémon, lame!”
“Lots of wonderful clothing in all kids sizes. The store is well organized, clean and bright. Our stroller fit down the aisles so I could shop with my hands free. I'm the grandma and that was very helpful as my grandson was only 3 months old and can be wiggly when he is looking around.”

695 Bridgeway, Sausalito“A fantastic toy store for kids of all ages! Average pricing. This shop is crammed with products, offering all sorts of toys, games, books, accessories, postcards and gifts. I especially love the selection of books about Sausalito and SF that were right at the front of the store.”
“You can find a bunch of great figurines, board games, etc. They have a variety of brands like Bandai, Good Smile Company, etc. Yup, nendoroids! The best shop in Japantown for figurines and authentic.”
11AM - 6PM
540 Hayes St, San Francisco“I was looking for swimwear and a sweater (both from Tea Collection) which were sold out on the company's website. After a google search for the items, I found Fiddlesticks! They have a nice selection of children's clothing as well as plush toys (I ended up buying a few more adorable plush toys from Jellycat). When I received the package today, all items were individually wrapped and there was a sweet note from the owner. Had a lovely experience shopping online. Highly recommended this store.”
“I just love this store. I have taken my three boys in here every single time they get a haircut, since before they could talk. It certainly is hard to leave without a toy! I love the friendly staff, as they always know what to help with, and give us clean service.”
“Best educational toy store I've encountered in the SF Bay Area. From Five Little Monkeys in Burlingame to various Barnes & Nobles' toy sections, I find most stores have the same products I already know of from Amazon. This store had Melissa & Doug educational learning mats, Bruder Caterpillar branded construction vehicles, die cast cars - and gift wrapping for everything.Additionally, the store was an experience for kids - Haba train sets, Calico Critters homes, this was better than Disneyland for many toddler aged kids.I should've taken more pics of this place - mine don't do it justice for the expansive, modern, clean layout.”
“Incredible selection of toys. Exceptional service. Merilyn went above and beyond to help us. Sales associates like her are the reason we go to real stores instead of shopping online.”
11AM - 7PM
1091 Market St, San Francisco“They have a great selection of pieces here! I've checked out some other locations before but I really liked how everything was set up here. Lots of open space and a huge selection! I was actually surprised to see a few things I wanted to buy here. I ended up getting a sweater from Nike! Was a bit disappointed to find out that it was on sale on the Nike website afterwards but it's okay! Happy to support BAIT. The workers there were so nice and thoughtful. I would definitely come back to look around again when they bring in new stuff. Keep in mind that you can refund anything after buying something. Exchanges only!”
“A very small store for the serious anime- Japanese manga type figurines/ models and other collectables and some lower cost stuff for kids/ collectors on a budget. It's one of the few I know in the general bayarea that specializes in the trade and one the few that offer some of the original Japanese heroes collectable stuffing around SF”
“It's definitely a very cutesy type of store that sells Japanese products like Sanrio merch and many kinds of plushies. When I walked in the staff were nice and greeted me although I went on a day where there weren't many people in Japantown. I'm not this store's target demographic honestly, but it's still a fun store to browse around in when I have the time.”
“Such a great store! Incredible selection of baby & kid things. Molly helped us pick out a travel stroller and car seat today and even helped us put the stroller together. Will definitely return.”
