I started with Strength Den several months ago and am very glad that I did. I'm confident in Denzel's knowledge of what is good for my body, how to build my strength and maintain flexibility, and I can feel the difference over time -- builds strength and confidence, while keeping me in shape. Visiting Strength Den is one of the highlights of my week! Denzel makes you feel very comfortable even if you are a novice. It is a great place to recover from an injury and get stronger - he is so knowledgable about every move. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. The Strength Den has been a game changer for my life, and my physical and mental health. As a former Division I athlete, my only experience in physical training had been a team-based and cutthroat approach. I was hesitant to jump back into the waters of strength training until I discovered the Strength Den and Denzel's individualized and encouraging approach. I have so much respect for Denzel and Coach Mike.. both bring great expertise and insight to the table. Thanks to the Strength Den, I feel strong and confident in my body for the first time in several years. I give it ten gold stars!

I've gone to semi-private workouts at Strength Den for a year and cannot recommend the program highly enough. Denzel has built a customized training plan for me, focused on total body strength and mobility all geared towards getting me back to competing at former D1 level in golf now in my mid-30s. Not only have I seen amazing improvement in speed and stamina on the course, but have completely gotten rid of nagging shoulder and back injuries and am more confident applying my new strength to any athletic pursuit. Even my day-to-day body positioning and awareness has improved.The gym itself is the perfect setup to focus and improve each week. Denzel changes my workout frequently to keep pushing my limits, and is amazing at refining basic techniques I've done for many years with other coaches (bench press, squats, etc) as well as slowly incorporating news ones that are on the cutting edge of my sport's fitness training, consistent with what I've seen the top pro athletes doing. The available times are perfect to suit my schedule, and whether I book a session in the morning or night and whether I'm alone or with a couple of other people I get a ton out of each session physically and mentally with his constant coaching and feedback.

BEST WORKOUT EVER. Working out at Strength Den with Coach Denzel and Coach Mike has been the best experience I’ve ever had with strength training and conditioning. Their commitment to finding the most effective and appropriate exercises for each person is unparalleled. The atmosphere is super chill but focused and always positive and fun.

Love this place. Denzel is an excellent coach. You pretty much get personal training from an expert for a very reasonable cost. I feel much more confident in doing technical lifts. Denzel and Mike (the other coach), both have great attitudes, provide a comfortable atmosphere, and a great workout. My plan was to only come for three months and I'm still here nine months later...

I've been going to weekly individually-tailored workouts for a year now, and I've never felt better physically. Strength Den has become the perfect compliment for my passions of surfing/biking/trail-running, especially since I've rounded the 40-year mark and am more susceptible to falling out of alignment and/or sustaining injuries. Strength Den's philosophy is not about getting jacked (like many other gyms), but rather about developing functional fitness, customized for your specific sports and physical goals. Many of the muscles that I've been training are the often neglected ones that you don't see in the mirror, but they are often critical to optimal performance and injury avoidance. I never thought I'd be the type who goes to a gym, but this is not a normal gym, and now I can't imagine going without it! Thank you Team Strength Den!

We've been going to Strength Den for a few years, and it is the best! The coaches are really good people (we've worked with both Denzel and Mike), and it's my favorite gym setup: You get a personalized training program, but the coaches work with a couple people at a time so you can ask questions and get advice without the pressure (or cost) of 1:1 training. They also keep it to 4-5 people in the gym at a time, so there's no fighting for equipment. They know their stuff and can make lifting accessible/ challenging regardless of level/age. If you're interested in adding strength to your routine, this is the spot!

Best decision you will ever make! My body had completely changed after working with the Strength Den team! I am in less pain, feel stronger, and overall feel better in my body after the targeted sessions designed to help me strengthen based on my particular body's weaknesses. This is functional fitness at its best. So happy to be a part of the Strength Den community!

I've been working out with Denzel and Mike for the past few years. What I love about Strength Den is the individual focus, but in a group setting which makes it fun. I'm stronger, leaner and have clarity of mind when I walk out of my sessions. Plus they have the best music!!

Denzel and Michael are great trainers who take care to understand your goals, meet you where you are athletically and fitness-wise, and devise workouts that are challenging but still fun and energizing. Mill Valley and Marin can be pretty intense about exercise and working out, but this is a super welcoming place that fits the needs of all kinds of athletes (even people who don't consider themselves such). The semi-private classes are a great mix of personal attention and the feeling of working out with others. Highly recommend and hope more people find this gem.
