excellent customer service and beautiful selection of rugs. I was welcomed into the store and received extremely helpful and friendly assistance from everyone at Roja. They took the time to answer any questions and were very knowledgeable about their rugs :)

I live in San Diego but while I was up in the Bay Area attending a conference in Mill Valley I walked into ROJA RUGS. I saw beautiful handmade rugs and in particular one that would go perfectly in my contemporary home. The customer service was unlike anything I have experienced. Five stars still falls short of the incredible service. It’s difficult to find contemporary rugs and this isn’t a purchase easily done. So I politely explained that I lived in San Diego and the logistics wouldn’t work. I left after giving them my contact information. Two weeks later they called and said they were delivering some custom rugs to San Diego and they would gladly bring the rug I was interested in to see it in my house to better make a decision. I sent them a video of the inside of my house along with measurements. They arrived not only with the rug I was interested in but 2 additional rugs for the other rooms still in need of rugs. They were ALL PERFECT CHOICES. Roja Rugs KNOWS how to select the right rug for YOUR style and specifically each room. The color choices were unbelievably exactly what each room needed. After several futile months of searching in the East Bay and SF for the perfect rug to complement my newly painted interiors, my eagle-eye friend and I found the most beautiful and unique rug at Roja Rugs in Mill Valley. It took me 10 minutes to decide that the search was over! The showroom at Roja Rugs is stunning and one may incorrectly assume that all the handmade carpets are in the stratosphere in prices, as I assume the precious antique carpets are. However, Roja Rugs also offers luxurious contemporary rugs of beautiful design and quality and affordability. Sahap Borak, the CEO, was so helpful and accommodating that the experience at Roja Rugs was a real pleasure. I highly recommend that you visit Roja Rugs before you commit to any future rug purchase!

I highly recommend Roja Rugs if you’re looking to buy a new rug. Great products. Great customer service. My wife and I love the rug we bought from this company two years ago. We also loved the way we were treated!But recently we found that we’ve had to put our rug away for a while. I spoke to Roja representative Max a couple times over the phone and told him our situation. He said they could take care of our rug, which they did. I dropped off our rug to Max. And when I came back a few days later to pick it up, it was nicely vacuumed, rolled up, and sealed. Max was very professional, knowledgeable, and warm both over the phone and in person.Thank you Roja Rugs - and thank you Max!

I bought the product from the store and left satisfied, but a few days ago I found the exact same handmade rug (the rug I mentioned is handmade) on Amazon for almost 1/10 price. After doing some research, I realized that every handmade rug is 5 to 10 times more expensive. This is really unethical. It's a shame that you take advantage of the ignorance of American people about handmade rugs.

Stunning rugs and incredible service. I absolutely love the two I purchased for a bedroom and living room (photos attached.) Will definitely be back to purchase again for future rug needs. The team takes a lot of time with you hand-selecting rugs that will fit your space perfectly -- and then bringing them to your house / apt to see how they look in the room and light before you decide. White glove service and beautiful products. Highly recommend.

I went into Roja Rugs and met with Diyar to find a rug to put over my existing rug at home. Diyar skillfully pulled out the perfect match for my existing rug and let me take it home ( at no charge) to see if it matched my existing rug. I came back the next day and purchased the rug at a fair price. This place is most defiantly the best rug business in Marin County. I will be back to buy more rugs for my daughters room.

We went into Roja recently on a whim on the way to lunch and were blown away by the amazing service and selection. We ended up buying a beautiful carpet that now will be in our family for ever and a amazing runner that really helped put the finishing touches on our newly remolded kitchen. I walked into Roja Rugs to get an estimate for cleaning my treasured Tibetan rugs. DR and his co workers did a fabulous job returning my rugs in just a week, with new pads and excellent care in restoring their color and plushness.They took care of prompt pick up and delivery.I also found the collection of carpets in the store ever so tempting ! If you need a wonderful addition to your indoor decor, by all means go to Roja on the square in Mill Valley and spend some time choosing something special!

They delivered a truckload of potential rugs to my Oakland home, and very patiently showed me many rugs before I found one I wanted. Throughout they were courteous , friendly without any sales hype that is offensive. They promised full service for any issues that might arise and I feel confident they will follow through. Altogether, a very good experience.

We went to the Shoreline Highway location and were so happy with the service and the selection. Their rugs are stunning and the highest quality you'll find. Each piece was a true work of art and would last a family a lifetime. I had a tuffted rug that was tricky to keep clean, and their rug cleaning service was affordable and revived my pesky rug back to it's original condition.

Walking into this beautiful store is like stepping onto Alladin's magic carpet. The taste of the buyers is superb and high quality. I bought two jewel colored rugs which add beauty and elegance to my Tiburon home. The owners, Diyar and his brother, let me try a variety of rugs on approval, and struck a great deal on the ones I chose to keep!!! They hand delivered rug pads. The addition of these elegant rugs has elevated the whole home, and added beauty and joy to our lives on a daily basis.

This is the way to get the right rug for your home. We wandered into Roja Rugs in Mill Valley to get ideas from their vast selection of styles and sizes. Sahap Borak patiently asked questions about our space and style and began showing various possibilities. When he saw what we reacted to he suggested that we let him bring 10 or 12 rugs to our home and see them in our space, which we did. We were surprised at what we thought would be right for our home and what actually did look right with our light, our appointments and our artwork. We chose a rug but after living with it for a week we realized the colors were not exactly right for the room. Sahap was happy to come back and present more possibilities and we landed on the absolute perfect rug. We never could have done this through a catalog or by purchasing a rug without seeing it in our home. In fact we had already made the wrong choice twice over the years which is why we were still searching. We did spend more than we anticipated, but when you end up with the right piece you feel good about the transaction, and very appreciative of a business that will stick with you till you have exactly what you didn't know you were looking for.
