My college roommate - of long ago - was visiting, so it was her first time visiting Mill Valley. Was so pleased that she was able to find several items with the patient, and very nice, but knowledgeable and professional help of the Margaret O'Leary's sales associate Ms. Lisa Marie. Thank. you for helping her visit to California be very enjoyable - and fruitful - in terms of purchasing some beautiful clothing. Your store always has such exquisite clothing; your sales persons, like Lisa Marie, are always so helpful, though never over-bearing. Thank you!!

Purchased a sweater online. Impossible to do a return. Have the order number right in front of me and they claim they do not have that order number. Love the merchandise but the return system does not work.

I have a very nice cashmere sweater from here that I got a year ago. It came with a large safety pin with the same thread color to wear it closed.I lost mine and the manager had one made for me to match the former color.

Shout out to sleuth Debbie! I lost my keys in Mill Valley late Saturday afternoon while shopping. I left them on a shelf in the store while perusing all of the fine clothing. She found them and called the dog tag phone number on my keychain and I recovered them the next day. I couldn't have been happier. Thank you, Debbie!

I have been a costumer for years and am usually happy with quality and style. I just went into the Mill Valley store to return a pair of pants which ripped after light wear of a month. The sales person was hostile and said I had to pay $25 for the repair. I would expect better costumer service. I did not do anything to these pants. Will buy my sweaters in a different store. Bad shopping experience. This sales person should not work in this store unless Margaret is fine with costumers being treated rude and never want to come back despite loving her clothes.

To who it may concern, first I want to apologize to the owner of the boutique for my poor review. The store is immaculate, well designed, products are fabulous, I would give 4+ stars for that. I have been there twice and purchased products. However the grown mature lady is very rude. She had the worst attitude both times I came in the store. I tried to give her a compliment with how beautiful the store looked. She was not keen on my compliment...almost felt she was either racist, always in a bad mood, or just was not raised with good work ethic to be hospitable to customers. I am hesitant to come back as she makes me tense wanting to leave the store immediately after seeing the wonderful products. To the owner of the boutique please talk to her about her attitude perhaps when you are not around. I know one thing, the sales lady with a french accent in your sister store Sundry was phenomenal. Great host and so pleasant. I had to commend her how wonderful her presence was and delighted to have her host the store.

Nice store. Everything is super expensive and unfortunately the 2 items I tried didn't fit well. I ve found cuter and better fitting clothes at Old Navy which is significantly cheaper.

What a delightful store! Margaret O'Leary is always the place to go for outstanding quality and gorgeous colors. At the Mill Valley location, the staff is, without exception, welcoming, helpful and honest about what works. Every change of season brings something new and tempting, and their sales events should not be missed!

5 star all around. The service in this store is top notch. Why? Because from start to finish Kelly and all the associates we encountered were kind, genuine, personable and friendly. I specifically traveled to this store while on my honeymoon in the San Francisco area. I previously visited the MO store near Bleecker street in Nyc. This is how you should be treated when buying frivolous high end clothing. Why frivolous? Because no one needs a $600 sweater. Why high end? Because the quality of the product is phenomenal. I was trying on a cardigan and looking to choose between several colors. One of the colors wasn't in stock so one of the girls quickly checked if they'd be receiving more. We were both offered water or Guinness. When I came back to purchase my sweater, I was given the same treatment. I was told how to care for my sweater, given a sweater comb for free, told I could send it in for de pilling at the end of the season free of charge as well, my item was wrapped nicely. Margaret O'Leary doesn't really offer discounts but on your birthday (the day I bought my sweater) I was given 20% off. Score! All three ladies wished us a pleasant stay in the Bay Area and a happy birthday to me. Being a retail manager myself, I know it's not easy to connect with customers day in and day out and that's what made this shopping trip even more special.

Beautiful, luxurious but not "fancy", throw on and feel like a million bucks clothes. I was just looking around and, while I didn't feel pressured to buy, Rachel and Dawn deftly pulled out pieces that suited my taste and body type. They were spot on. The clothes are things I can imagine wearing all the time and for years to come. The shopping experience was friendly, enjoyable, and helpful.
