Just wanted to share a great experience with VIP Pet Care services who came through in a clinch in getting Lola's long-needed Canine Influenza Vaccine booster. It's been in short supply all over wherever I looked and someone recommended VIP, as they purchase a lot of vaccine. They did! Both my vet (greatest in the world, Montecito Vet Clinic in Santa Rosa) and my Lola's day-care/spa (greatest in the world, duh, K-9 Activity Club in Santa Rosa) recommended VIP. The vet and two technicians were absolutely professional, efficient, kind and considerate in administering the booster and trimming her nails. It was like holding down a baby bull at first, but Lola settled right in. They were great, and kept me an arm's length, for liability sake, but turned out to be good as Lola saw me the whole time, and they knew what the &(( they were doing! Well done, VIP, for saving my bacon as there's a nasty respiratory bug in canines going around and I want to do whatever I can to keep her safe! Thank you!!!!!

First let me say that I buy all my dog food, treats, toys here, I'm pleased with that! However, I also bathe my dogs here, I like their set up, the soap comes out with the water, it makes the process easy. A few months ago the soap wasn't flowing, we reported it and they gave us bottles to use, nice but I can do that at home. That said, they told us the lines were being replaced, excellent. One more thing, I have two very large and fury dogs, lots of soap and water. Back we go, no soap or very little, the guy beside me is having the same issue. The employee is quite nice, tells me the pumps are working, etc! That's it, no compensation for another wash, nothing!!! Really, I think I'm going to take me business to Woodland Pet in strawberry Village. See how the soap works. One more thing, a wash is $15.00. Last thing...I am leaving and purchasing two bones, &16.00. I give the young clerk a $50. She tells me she cannot accept it, it's too large. $34 change, she won't do it, I don't have my wallet. I leave. We spend over $500/month on dog food and supplies. I'm taking my business to Woodland Pet!!!

There was a very light rain tonight but traffic was stopped dead on 101 as I made my way to Pet Express, in Mill Valley. Although I left enough time to get there, I didn't anticipate being frozen in place. In a panic because my dog, Birdie, would go on strike, not to mention voice her displeasure painfully loud if her favorite food wasn't served for dinner, I called the store and reached the always wonderful and convivial Charles and told him I was on my way but may be a few minutes late and would he please stay open for maybe just a couple of minutes past closing time at 7 pm? Very sympathetic about a hungry dog, he immediately said that he had a few things to take care of in the store and he would check with the manager, Sarah. The quick answer was that the door would be open. I nearly wept with joy. I was a few minutes late, grabbed Birdie's food, expressed my absolute delight about all of this and even told Sarah, whom I didn't have the pleasure of meeting before, that Charles had lousy taste in sports teams but otherwise he was a favorite of mine. When you have people who possess huge hearts and go out of their way so effortlessly and with such grace, I salute them and Pet Express for its fabulousness in hiring such lovely human beings. I adore this store, as does Birdie. Thank you so much, Charles and Sarah! It meant the world to me.

Fantastic customer service and great selection. I arrived with my two dogs that have a habit of pulling during our walks so I walked them straight to Pet Food Express in Mill Valley. I was greeted by Sarah who went above and beyond to help me. She fitted both dogs with the proper size no pull harness and adjusted for a proper fit. We left the store and walked home with no pulling! Thank you Sarah for solving our problem and being so friendly and helpful

My sweet senior dog needed a new harness due to a health issue and the employee who helped us was fantastic, so helpful and nice. We found a great harness that works perfectly for our dog.

The staff at this store are absolutely outstanding: thoughtful, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Today they went out of their way to recommend something for my dog's collar that I would never have noticed. We purchase our dog food regularly here, and we wholeheartedly recommend this store and its staff to all pet owners!

Whom ever is in charge of hiring has nailed their job. This store has the finest, kindest, and most helpful staff I have ever consistently experienced.1 minute after closing- no problem, grab what you need. How to use the pet wash station- let me walk you through it and lend you a plastic collar. Don't know which treats to buy- I will recommend your puppies new favorite snack. The harness didn't fit or work IRL- no problem, let's get you another size or style.This store has what you need and the people to show you where to find it. That's for being so awesome guys! I am so thankful you are so conveniently located.
