1225 4th St, San Rafael“Great local store. Went in on a whim looking for a game for my husband's birthday. Told the nice guy working there what I was interested in and our general skill level and he gave some options. I picked one that he recommended and it's great! He also told me if we didn't understand or needed help with game play, to give them a call because they wanted customers to have fun with the games they got. Will be going back!”

900 Andersen Dr, San Rafael“I went in looking for a simple, but sturdy plastic board to support the end of a cage that was an inch longer than the end of the counter. Sam made sure I chose the right kind of plastic (I didn't know there was even a difference) to survive what this board would be exposed to (bleach, cleansers). Well, the board is perfect and thank you, Sam, for suggesting one corner be rounded. I could not think of anything I would have done differently. It's perfect.”

63 Wentworth Pl, San Francisco“Ying Hobbies & Toys it's the hidden gem you never knew you needed! My wife stumbled upon this treasure while on a quest for Gunpla goodness, and boy, am I glad she did. Tucked away in a cozy spot, Ying Hobbies & Toys might play hard to get at first, but once you lay eyes on its bounty of plastic wonders, you'll be hooked. The store might be small, but it's bursting at the seams with an array of model kits that'll make any Gundam fan's heart skip a beat. Seriously, choosing just one model feels like trying to pick a favorite child - impossible and bound to hurt someone's feelings. But fear not, the guy running the place is pretty helpful. With his guidance, navigating through the sea of model kits becomes a breeze! Oh and the pricing is super fair specially for all the cool stuff you can find. So, if you're a Gundam enthusiast or just someone who appreciates the art of model kits, do yourself a favor and pay Ying Hobbies & Toys a visit. Trust me, it'll quickly become your go-to spot for all things Gunpla. Happy building, fellow plastic yelp warriors!”
“My dad dropped a five dollar bill and a worker named Athena kindly came out to us as we were getting in our car. Friendly and and I like the outgoing attitude. Give her employee of the month.”
“Cute and friendly cat! The cashier was nice overall! Had a situation with miscommunication on pricing, and when confronted, the owner was respectful and apologetic. To the business: I appreciate the apology, I see it was an honest mistake. Go support them and meet the friendly cat!”
“I've been shopping at Diamond Sports Cards (Bobby's shop) for nearly 8 months now. GREAT selection, especially on baseball and baseball singles. I've pulled many rare cards out of boxes from Bobby, and it's always fun to chat with Bobby, or help him out by deflecting some of the chattier customers so he can focus on a sale, lol. Thanks again Bobby!”
“Great picture framing service. Kathleen is awesome. I watched her frame, back, and wire a piece for another guy while he waited - such a pro. I've been going to Cheap Pete's for years and now I know it is NOT cheap. Michael's is a way better deal and way faster. I'll be back.”
