Finally, something positive to review. There is a manager at this location who picked up the phone and we had a resolution conversation. At least a commitment to follow through with a quick resolution and communication.A brightness in a blackhole Citibank calls customer service. We will see how it unfolds.ANOTHER UPDATE:NO WORD FROM THIS BRANCH AND MANAGER.THE PHONES ARE NOT ANSWERED.Because of this review, I was contacted by Citibank Customer Worst. They wrote that I need to contact Security and Fraud Department to expedite my closing check.IT IS A DIZZYING EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH CITIBANK.STILL NO OFFICIAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THIS TERRIBLE FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. A NIGHTMARE IS MORE MANAGABLE THAT THE MESS THEY CREATED.ONE OF THE ACCOUNTS IS A BUSINESS OPERATING ACCOUNT.THEY ARE HOLDING MY FUNDS.I SHOULD GET A GOOD RETURN ON THESE FUNDS THAT ARE NOT THEIRS.EACH TRANSACTION IN THE BRANCH WERE VERIFIED. SO, HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS TREATMENT?MOST COMPANIES WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS.STAY TUNED.UPDATE:I WAS GIVEN THE SECURITY/FRAUD DEPARTMENT PHONE NUMBER. I CALLED AND THEY COULDN'T VERIFY MY ACCOUNT. VERY ODD, SINCE I GAVE ACCOUNT INFORMATION, YES?SO I ASKED TO HAVE MY CONCERNS ESCALATED AND THE OFF-SHORE REP ENDED UP HANGING UP ON ME.STILL NO WORD FROM THE MANAGER IN MILL VALLEY ABOUT ESCALATING THE RETURN OF MY FUNDS IMMEDIATELY, NOT 30 TO 60 DAYS!!!I HAVE ANOTHER BANK TO DEPOSIT THE FUNDS INTO.The management here pretends to be customer friendly, but at the end of the day they are not. They pass the buck and say to your face that they have no control when the wheels fall off of your account."The back office" controls everything and will close your account without a reason. When you call the branch, no one answers the phone. The management said they would call me back, but did not.So, my account was blocked and then closed without an explanation. Then, Citibank will hold your funds for 30 to 60 days after closing. This is my operating account for my business. These actions cripple small businesses.Others must be experiencing this poor business practices with Citibank. This is a class action suit in the making.Do your due diligence. There are better banks.

Horrible customer service. No one will pick up the phone and when they do its a foreign country with bad reception. Even if you have a fraud or potential fraud issue you get placed in a horrible merry go aound. Th9s is ridiculous. Grow up and do your job CitiBank. This is why I bank with a credit union for most of my banking needs.

Horrible customer service. Worst banking experience ever. Branch office manager offered no help to the poor teller who was caught in the middle. Atrocious. Citi bank and Citi mortgage might as well be two separate entities in two separate countries speaking two different languages - one speaks Greek, the other speaks Chinese. I feel sorry for the poor teller who was helpless and tried her best to help me. Clearly the CEO Michael Corbat never tried to do a transaction at one of the branches his company runs. I will never do business with Citi again. No concept of lifetime value of a customer. Sad.

Do not get a mortgage or a HLOC from this company-ever. We ran into tough times and tried to renegotiate our 10 year HLOC, to extend the re-payment period, and they did everything in their power to drag it out. I was palmed off on 3 different agents, each one loosing my info, then requesting more and different info each time. After 6 months, still no conclusion- we wound up selling the house instead! DO NOT USE THEM! RATING= "F" on customer service.

There is no good reason to have physical branches anymore. The service is a joke. I went in to this branch today to deposit a check. The teller was Danielle Felix. The check had my name but also my Mom's name. Apparently new rules are that if there are 2 names both people have to be physically present or the account has to have both names on it. It's ridiculous, but those are the rules. I asked if I could add my mom to my account and she said she needed to be physically present. Same thing if I were to open a new account in both of our names. Basically she told me to call the issuer of the check and have them change it. I left confused because it doesn't seem possible that there wasn't a better solution. Apparently a check from a lender with 2 names, must be made out to both parties on the loan (although they seem perfectly fine taking money from an account with only one name but that's another story). So, with no ability to change the check, I called and attempted to do a 3 way call and open an entirely new account, for the sole purpose of depositing one check. This seemed crazy to me. I went back to the branch and Danielle again told me that I could not open a joint account without the person being physically present. This just seemed unreasonable. So I called phone support again. I was directed by a helpful person to simply add my mom as a signer on the account by having them send her a form for her to complete. this apparently was easy to do and could have also been done online. I went back to share the news with Danielle but she continued to give me attitude. Her tone indicated she was very happy to tell me no, and clearly not interested in finding the simple solution to the problem I was having. Coincidentally two ladies (one older) were in front of me and were also incredibly frustrated by her inability to help them (apparently they have fraudulent purchases being made on her credit card and they will not shut down the card for the older woman). I told them to not bother with the branch and call or go online because the people working there are clearly happy to tell you what they can't do, and unwilling to help you find the solution.

Recently this branch has had a complete employee turnover including Branch Manager, Personal Banker and tellers. I have been with this branch for over 23 years....I have experienced several turnovers through the years and have been open, patient and extremely satisfied with the various new banking staffs. This group really needs help in customer service especially small town customer service. Also a little more confident organization. I have to agree with Mitzi S., for the time being I will going a little further to another branch. I loved my bank....love it no more!

I agree wholeheartedly with the poor reviews that other patrons have given to this branch location and Citibank in general. The staff at this location could greatly benefit from customer service training. I find the tellers to be rude and the personal banking staff to not be customer minded. Tomorrow I will be exercising my choice to vote with my feet and to take my banking business elsewhere.

Glad this Citi ATM was operable because my husband's bank's ATM down the street was busted. Needed cash for purchases at a concert. Thank you!

They don't even have today's date showing on the counter, like every other bank. Managers unhelpful, but smiling and friendly. Every visit to the teller includes them trying to upsell you to buy more Citibank products.
