Not only are the vets here wonderful for cats, making observations about their personalities, they are also great with people and have to be with a lot of finicky cat people. My teen recently got frustrated as we adopted a brand new rescue kitten. She was convinced that the fur baby had "roundworms" just like our 5yo cat used to have. He didn't correct her, just gently suggested that the medication he was prescribing was for tapeworm, for both he eventually said. Only later did she realize her mistake and that the medication was correct... so she got to realize it in her own time... I certainly am not that skilled... we would have gotten into it, possibly bickering about who is right... The other point is that the atmosphere of the clinic, 1970s unchanged, is one of the last bits of old Mill Valley, and I love that. I like the idea that his son will carry it on even when dad retires I hope. Sweet people. Even if I move I will still bring my cats here. You can also consult his son about poison arrow frogs and reptiles, as he is a very knowledgeable animal lover in general. I was there one day when a sweet woman was picking up her cat's remains and grieving, and again, like people have said, there was such an empathy and a kindness from the staff as she grieved and talked about her little best friend and all the good care they had given him over the years... I can't even imagine what it will be like to lose my little familiar.... but I imagine they will be kind in breaking the news... Okay last thing, in an emergency I took my cat to a clinic out of town, male cat with crystallizations..., and they recommended all kinds of unnecessary stuff... with a very high price tag, and Dr. Innis was able to cut through the bs and tell me, oh that's a fancy antibiotic but you can just do this and your cat will be healed. Gold! My bill went from 655 to about 150. He gives what is medically necessary and doesn't pad anything. Better for the people, the cats and the pocketbook. Refreshing and I love that!! I think they are up there with the Bay Area best... and they have earned my respect, many times over.

We were in need of an urgent appointment and they accepted us as a walk in. The doctor was friendly, kind and kitty was very happy in his care. Will be a new client moving forward! Thanks to Dr. Innis and the team!

Cat clinic. What can I say? I love the vet, but hate their "no appointments" practice. Despite calling ahead, the wait time to be seen for the vet is 30-60 minutes. Sometimes, if the waiting room is full, it means hanging out with your kitty in the car. And really, who has time for that?! If their practice doesn't change, we'll be looking for a new vet.

The cat clinic is THE vet for your cat! They have so much experience with cats. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my kitties. I trust them completely and the prices are reasonable. If you care about your cat go there! 100%. I also like that you don't need an appointment unless you're having a procedure scheduled.

We love the Cat Clinic! Dr. Innis and his staff treated our feisty cat just as well as he does our sweet docile cat, even though she is a handful to treat (I am sure they would agree this may be a bit of an understatement.) Our cat was probably within hours or less of dying, just days after turning 12. I was certain she wasn't coming home, but with quick reaction and care, Dr. Innis brought her back from the brink. And we were pleasantly surprised when we got the bill that we didn't have to take out a second mortgage to pay for it. We live in Napa now and will continue to bring them here even though there are many closer vets to our home.

We had a cat with a long illness and Dr. Innes guided us through taking care of our cat throughout. He was caring but also pragmatic and always genuinely cared for my pet. She lived at least 9 lives while he took care of her an I am genuinely appreciative. I've been to other vets in Mill Valley and I can assure you that Dr. Innes is the best.

Not only thorough but just seem to love my Devon Rex. Super gentle, very inquisitive and then they take the whole story of the cats life into consideration when recommending care. A fantastic vet. Don't hesitate if you're looking. I love that they don't take appts. Makes it super easy to see them.

What would I do without the Cat Clinic? For my senior cat's last year of struggles to my middle-age cat's kidney issues to regular vet checkups, the Cat Clinic and the sweet, knowledgeable vets have really been wonderful. They're reliable, very helpful, and kind.

This is a great clinic for cats and their owners. Throughout 10 years Dr. Dave has been amazing for our cat (and my wife) consistently. Even when we recently had to make the tough decision to put the kitty to sleep (cancer), the clinic and Dr. were extremely helpful through the entire process from trying to stay comfortable, appropriate testing, and even the end. Highly recommended.

Love this place and it will be my kitty's new vet! Very knowledgable front office staff - they make you feel comfortable with the service your getting and are not overpriced by any means. I called about 15 vets in SF to see who could do the anti-FAVN Rabies test for an upcoming trip and everyone said I needed an appointment and that they didn't have time for a month... then I called the Cat Clinic and they said I didn't need an appointment and they'd be glad to help, just walk on in! The blood draw literally took about 5 minutes, so thank you!

We have been taking our cat Fuzz to Dr David Innes for a decade now and because of him our cat is ALIVE, 16 now and doing well after several very serious illnesses. Dr. Dave is the BEST. Cat Clinic deserves 100 stars as far as I'm concerned! You won't find any better Vet on the planet!

Have gone to this clinic for over 20 years. The doctors and the office staff have always been friendly, kind and caring. I could not imagine more professional and compassionate care for one's beloved fur children. They know cats. They love cats. And they are wonderful with people.

I love bringing my cat to this clinic. Both vets are excellent. Dr. Innes has decades of experience, and Dr. Logan has all the youthful enthusiasm, a James Herriot who loves all creatures. No customer is talked into fancy treatments or over the top antibiotics like at other vet hospitals. Even though I live far away now, thankfully my kitty is like a puppy and sits in my lap for the ride over. Once there, he makes himself at home and is very comfortable. He is appreciated there for his wonderful personality, and I appreciate that the cat gets TLC while I get sage advice. This place has old Mill Valley written all over it.

Dave and Andrew are top notch cat vets. They both have wonderful bed side manners and make you feel very comfortable. Great interpersonal interaction and the genuine love and concern for the cats comes through with every interaction.
