This place is ridiculous! They close early because they don't have a pharmacist! They are supposed to be closed at 6 and today they where closed at 4 2 hours earlier because they are short staffing them! When they took over rite aid and other pharmacy's accounts they didn't even take into consideration the amount of staff they would need and we as customers are suffering for it! The lines are out of control there have been times I waited in line for 45 min for my meds not to even be ready!

Merced Walgreens is horrible!! Rarely do they have the meds I am prescribed . I have to call around myself to find out which pharmacy has the meds my physician prescribed then I have to get ahold of my physician and tell her that Walgreens in Merced doesn't have the med but a different Walgreens such as in Atwater or Turlock does. They don't follow up with meds they say are on order, the PATIENT has to call them to remind them to fill your prescription. I always get lip service, we don't have it now (a week later) call tomorrow and ask if we got the med in stock!! Walgreens is HORRIBLE

My pregnant wife went in to pick up a package. She asked very nicely for help out to the car. The girl working threw package in a cart and said that's the best she could do. Way to go walgreens...... edit: it was a younger girl in the photo department.

Tonight, November 17, 2023 at 8:38 pm, i drove up to drive thru to pick up my medicines. It says pharmacy opens until 9pm when I checked online. I waited and waited, two employees walked by us while im sitting in the truck by the drive thru. They both Ignored us and didn't even have common courtesy to tell us if pharmacy is open or closed. It's 8: 45pm, they just started closing blinds; and we still watching and yet no one came to inform us. So disappointed, i will be transferring all my kids and myself out to someplace else. Plus I will stop shopping there as it reflects on its management team. Poor customer service.

It's OK there's this one employee that always leaves an unpleasant experience even when I don't directly deal with her. She's Mexican with curly hair usually up in a bun type hairdo, if you see her, steer clear

if you are discharged from a hospital and you use Walgreens to have the prescription filled you might have to wait up to two days for it to be filled and forget using the automated phone line as I have waited up to 25 minutes to having been told I still had one call ahead of me so I used another phone and finally spoke to a tech who told me the same thing it's been worked on so I told her just be honest will it be filled today n she said no tomorrow so two days without a Ned that is very important to patient who needs it to regulate kidney function as patient stage 4 kidney failure. So please research which pharmacy you want to use.

This should be a two-star review, because this Walgreens was just about the saddest I've ever seen. They had the said yellowish lighting, the aisles of banged up goods, and the feeling of despair was thick enough to touch. I'd hate to come to this place to work at anytime, but to do it on a daily basis? Whew!!! But they have the third star because I walked away with the makeup pads that I was looking for. That's the only reason why they get the extra star. But this store was hard to find/get into and once I was on my way out, the relief was palpable. So get in, get out, and get on with your day as quick as you can.

Pharmacy hours are screwy. Summer hours end at 7pm, lunch hours are 1-2pm. On their website it has different hours. Call before you go.

Horrible pharmacy. Never have prescriptions ready on time, even when they're on auto fill. Wait time is ridiculous, especially in the drive thru! The list can go on and on. Go to a different pharmacy.

I am disappointed this Walgreens always my medicine is not ready. Always say Come back 30 40 minutes.
