“I don't come here often, but in the times that I have, I always find what I need.This evening, I was in the market for pork steaks, and they have a huge selection of animal proteins. The meat counter, "carneceria," is located at the rear of the store.They also have an area that sells hot foods. I haven't checked it out yet, but I will.”
“Where have I been all this time in Merced...the food court got the cheapest and best grill chicken in town. 8 pieces, salsa, 10 corn tortillas for $6. FOR $6. This is plenty of food for 4 kids if you add your own rice at home. How can I best describe this market, it is like the Mexican Save Mart”
“I love Save Mart's great selection of vegetables and fruits. If it's something uncommon I almost always find it here. Their meat dept. Is also quite nice, and they will cut meats to order if asked. Save Mart also has excellent sale prices on various items each week, but they aren't always particularly assiduous in maintaining their stock of those items during the stated time-frames of the sale, nor do they issue rain-checks for the missing items.”

“It has changed owners over the years, but remains a very well serviced store. Lots of variety and imported fruits and vegetables, great hot food to go or dine in area and fresh bread everyday. Just beware when the parking lot is full, be ready to wait in line for a bit, so go early.”
