They have a pet chicken and it was the cutest thing ever! Also, they were super helpful as I just barely started gardening as a new hobby and didn’t know what type of pesticide I should buy to fix my pincher bug problem. They basically rescued my zucchini from what would’ve been certain death. But mostly the 5 stars are for the chicken. It was just a really chill and cool chicken overall. 12/10.

I've been going to this nursery for at least 5 years and have never had a problem with my plants or staff! The plants never have bugs or infestations. The guy with the beard seemingly knows everything about plants and provides amazing guidance. My backyard is beautiful and blooming thanks to this place!

I've been to this nursery a handful of times. Staff is unpleasant and unhelpful. The guy with the beard and sun hat is awkward and weird if you ask him a question, he is definitely not a people person. I have spent alot of money on plants when I moved to the area and I am sorry I did. I much prefer belmont Nursery and gazebo gardens in Fresno. I Wish I knew about them sooner before I spent so much money at Merced gardens nursery.

Super friendly and informative staff. They'll let you know when their shipments of plants are coming in and help with good tips for growing. Great prices on flowers & vegetables. They offer non GMO and organic herbs and vegetables to plant some single and some in packs. Also a large display of succulents. Bought 2 large oaks which seem to be doing well. Worth a stop. Lots of organic dirt as well.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a great place to get local plants and advice on not killing them. We were thrilled to find a Fuyu persimmon sapling! (And my son loves the chickens).

My first time speaking with someone on the phone was great, so I decided to go in today for items I wanted to purchase… we weren’t greeted in any form or fashion (no other customers were around ) maybe two employees talking about food. Not sure if I’ll give this place another chance. Guess they have to know you?

Nice place to get flowers and trees that you may have trouble finding elsewhere. Really nice people find you look what you looking for.

I bought thyme and cilantro plant a couple of months ago. The cilantro died after a month of having it at home due to it being root bound. The thyme I purchased was in the same condition (here is to hoping it makes it). Only reason why I didn't give a 1 star is because the owner was super sweet.

The selection at this nursery is superior to everything I've seen in Merced county. The strawberries I got last year are still going strong this year. They have many varieties of herbs, vegetables and citrus. I got 2 different types of eggplant, 3 different pepper plants, soybeans, and another type of been. I got Thai basil. They had so many different types of limes and citrus that it was hard to make up my mind. I only had one place ready for a new tree. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to come back!
