This is an adorable place! I thought it was going to be just another fruit stand, but it is so much more. It has a very nice clean bathroom area (with signs indicating that the bathroom is for customers only). There is a beautiful backyard with picnic tables and free range chickens wandering around. There is also indoor seating with a deli, ice cream booth, coffee station, and souvenir shopping throughout. All of this is in addition to the local fruits, nuts, and jams that you would expect from a fruit stand. The staff was very friendly!

I stopped by on my way back from Yosemite National Park. This is a shop full of lively parrots. There are many other animals too. It's like a mini zoo. I bought almonds and pistachios here and have been tasting them since returning to Japan. It was a fun place.

Cute shop with amazing decoration. Heard they have a mini zoo in the back with Peacock, turtles, goat, chickens etc in the back but didn't have time to check it out.
In the front of the shop are 2 colorful parrots and 1 white parakeet(?) greeting guests.

Very cute stop on the road back from the Sierras, with clean restrooms and a lovely selection of souvenirs. Love the farm animals out back. A little concerned about the state of some of the parrots out front, particularly the African Grey Joey and the cockatoo. They looked like they were suffering in the noon heat (and I’m sure it gets much hotter than it was today), and a little neglected in their poop-filled cages without fresh, clean water (and these are highly intelligent social creatures). I hope someone brings them onto the shaded and cooler main room, or at least changes out their water bowls soon.

Worst quality oranges ever experienced. Totally dry. Guess it was old, even they had a sign up, they were in season. Had to throw them away.

Definitely a cute and sweet place to explore! I drop by this tiny shop every time I visit Yosemite, and they are constantly improving the inside. They sell local farm produce as well as gifts and souvenirs, and they even have a small zoo in the backyard (chicken, rabbits, goats, pigs, peacocks, emus, and so on). Also a few parrots at the entrance. Always feel the passion and love for life here.

Gorgeous place with lots of goodies to buy. I got a selection of souvenirs. My family and I enjoyed spending some time in their barn and garden - fresh soft serves and pretty flowers

Visited the Merced fruit barn after visiting Yosemite Park to Fresno, and I found the whole shop amazing. The gift shop is brilliant, and them live animals around make this a momentous place to visit.

I would've gave this place 5 stars if they had better customer service! The employees walked past us as if we weren't there. We did not feel welcomed at all. The birds were amazing though.
