I went in real quick to get some drinks and the white guy at the register held onto my ID for much longer than he needed to and asked me a bunch of belittling questions instead of just ringing me up like 99% of other stores, while two other employees goaded him. I would avoid this place. Very unprofessional.DO NOT trust these people with your cards they could potentially steal your information.

I ALWAYS enjoy shopping at Save Mart in Merced and Atwater BUT the deli bakery in Merced leaves ALOT to be desired. Very rude, not helpful, ignore customers until we have to tell them to take care of the long lines!! Then they are rude because we interrupt their gossip sessions on what they have planned for the evening. I ask if they carried a certain product and was told NO, WE DONT HAVE THAT!! She neither checked or asked anyone but I did find it on my own and was told DELI carries it cut up!!! Needless to say I went elsewhere to buy it so they lost a $49 dollar sale. Atwater deli is better and will at least wait on you and try to help but often seems like they have worked long hours or just want to get out of there and no smiles, just tired looking. They are alot cleaner in Atwater. Merced needs to close down a few days and CLEAN THAT GREASE PIT!! The entire stores smells of old grease and it certainly does not give me an appetite for any of their chicken.

Great place to get some gas and groceries in the same location. I've been going here for over 40 years and it's always been a convenient place that is reasonable.

Longgggg over due review for my favorite gas and snack station. They literally have anything and everything you could ask for. The owner and all the staff are always hella fun. Like cracking jokes, it's great! When you go in, you're not just a customer, you're like family. I also LOVE that they spread the love to the community by dropping the cost of gas some times! Always the cheapest in town!If you're a foodie and like those flavors pickles, or on the search for the best seltzer flavors or high noons or chips, this is your spot! They always have the trendy things like prime etc.

Bathrooms are public if you ask they are new too/ not dirty. Was able to return some products with a receipt without a fuss.

Real difficult to get out of once you are in. Just not enough room
