Grocery Outlets used to be a fantastic place to find bargains of all sorts: product overstocks, experimental products, odd lots of items designed for other US regions, etc. Sadly, times have changed. Grocery Outlet is now a full service grocery, and much less a place to find bargains.
I did find some interesting new products and some reasonably priced old favorites when I went in search of interesting trip food recently, but I don't shop here regularly anymore.

My favorite place for groceries, vitamins, and other ever changing merchandise. They have a good selection of organic and specialty foods. The wine department has some fine labels. I love the variety of items available.

Disappointing Experience with Manager Monica
I typically enjoy shopping at Grocery Outlet for its great deals and wide selection of products, but my recent experience left much to be desired. While shopping with my daughter and her girlfriend, we encountered exceptionally poor customer service from a manager on duty named Monica.
My daughter, who had already paid for a water, some gum, and a can of pears in a separate line, joined me in Monica's line where I was being assisted. Right away, Monica's lack of professionalism was evident. Not only did she neglect to bag my groceries, but she also rudely questioned my daughter's girlfriend about whether she had paid for her items, even after being told she had. Despite her confirmation, Monica insisted on seeing the receipt, clearly indicating her disbelief.
When I kindly requested that Monica bag the groceries she had scanned, her attitude became even more problematic. She was rude and disrespectful, which is completely unacceptable in a customer service role. To top it off, when I informed her that I would be writing a review about our negative experience, she laughed and told me to “go ahead, please do.”
As frequent shoppers at Grocery Outlet, this incident was the worst experience we have ever had at the store. I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the situation to ensure that other customers do not have to endure such unprofessional and rude behavior in the future.

Lots of good cheap food. Always my first stop when hunting for food. With grocery outlet some things you are looking for are a hit and miss. I have found so many good things that I've never seen in any other stores. And then boom they are gone. But definitely a lot of good things. It's always good to just walk through there and look and take your time without the kids just to see all the new things they might have. I usually get my avocados there. Today was two avocados for $3. Hard as a rock though. But when you set them out and let them ripen and these ones were big. So I always like the good deals here. I often buy things for a fraction of the price of another store. So yep it's always my first stop when I decide to go do my shopping........
