We sold our home last month and had to work with First American Title. We were less than impressed with the lack of communication. It was frustrating not ever knowing what was going on and having to constantly call the office if we wanted any information. Also, I am unsure if our escrow officer didn't know how to do her job, or just didn't care... (?)
