I will never stay here again. 1) I checked in and noticed the wifi was down within 5 minutes of checking in and I had to work, so I walked to the front desk and explained what was going on. Other customers were at the front desk also complaining about the wifi. 2) I informed the young woman at the front desk that I had to check out and find another place to stay. The young woman said I'd have to talk with corporate about getting a refund. 3) I stayed at the Merced Marriott (which I heartily recommend) and opened a case with the Wyndham corporate office, who told me I had to work with the local management. 4) I called the hotel again and was told I had to work with corporate, which is not true so management needs to train their employees better. 5) Local management and I emailed back and fourth and management asked for proof I stayed somewhere else and I provided said proof. I also referenced the case with corporate, which explained why I checked out and found another hotel. 6) Local management denied my refund after I provided what they asked as proof. I further asked what they would accept as proof. I was offered a $20 credit and my question wasn't answered after asking 2 or 3 times. Do not stay at the Days Inn Wyndham Merced Yosemite as front desk workers are clueless and can't help with wifi issues. And management needs customer service skills. Next time I won't waste time and money and will head straight to the Marriott.

Super handy. Right off of I-5. The room was very Spartan but comfortable beds with crispy sheets. No mini fridge. The late night clerk was super helpful and

Don’t like the policies, I’ve gone to this hotel a few times first it was always a 150$ cash deposit but today I’m told it’s 200$ cash deposit which is fine until another customer before me was told 50$ deposit on the card. I asked why we couldn’t leave a 50$ deposit on the card and she said it’s like that for everyone. the employee was nice but the hotel needs to figure out its policy. Judging from a previous review they seem to pick and choose who is charged a crazy amount for a deposit. It’s weird tbh

The first room i was given had the door wide open and looked like someone had been in there. I went to the front deak and let them know. They actually asked me, "are you sure you didn't use the room?" I was then given another room. This room wouldnt open. Finally they gave me another room. Then all night long there was another guest yelling and fighting with thier partner. When i called the front desk they said they would handle it and didnt. It was so late and i was only there for the night so i stuck it out but would NEVER say there again. Definitely not family friendly.

Clean rooms, good service but location is horrible. Merced is a dirty run down town. Downtown is all graffiti, boarded up storefronts (no businesses) and full of homeless people.

Prepare for a 40 minute check in. If you book online, and pre pay, they will demand 200$ cash. There's an ATM across the street. Make sure you evaluate the assigned room before you fork over any cash. Mine had damage. Glad I wasn't charged for previous problems. No other lodging demands cash like this place. Cha-ching.

My brother booked this hotel by mistake, so we chose to stay—a bad move! Regarding the service, the neighborhood in which this establishment is located, and the cash deposit, the reviews speak for themselves. Since there were six of us, we rented two rooms. Among other concerns, one room was lacking a fridge, had stained linens, and had a loose toilet seat. My brother did not mention that they charged us $40 because the towels were stained with makeup until we were home. I'm glad he did, lol. It is stupid and absurd to charge for dirty towels! Their excuse is that the stains were not going to come off.? How do they know that? Please stay away from this hotel. I was scared for my life. At night time, all you see outside is druggies and homeless.

I should have been smarter and looked the reviews here before I booked this Inn.Not because of room, we were I guess lucky and had a clean room. But the weird thing is that the TV and lights were on when we got there. Why I should have been smarter - because it seems that I won’t get my deposit back. According to them, they have tried to pay it back, but my card was “blocked”. I have ask for a proof of declined transaction so that my bank can resolve the issue and still I have received nothing. This is some kind of scheme, i don’t know how they pass IRS control

When I made my reservations, I asked if I could check in early, because my husband was asked to walk the bride down the aisle. I told the front desk that I wanted to check in at 2:00 an hour early. They did say that if a room was available I would be able to check in early. I called two days before my stay and again, I asked if I could check in early at 2:00, Barbara at the front desk informed me that I should call the morning of check in to see if a room would be available and if one was, that I could check in early. So on the day of check in around 9:00 am, I called the front desk and spoke with Anna, asked her if there would be a room available for early check in I told her we would be arriving at 2:00 pm. Anna said that a room was available and yes, I could check in early. When we arrived, at 1:40 pm, Anna said the room was available and that there is a $40 dollar early check in fee. I told her that when I called two times before, NO ONE mentioned an early fee charge. Anna did say that if we checked in at 2:30 pm there would be no extra fee. I told her that I had informed everyone I spoke with that I wanted to check in at 2:00 pm due to the wedding we needed to attend. No one, mentioned an early fee charge. By the way, there were multiple empty rooms when we left for the wedding at 3:30 pm. And when we returned at 8:30 pm they were still empty. Is this a scam to make money? Plus Anna mentioned that there is a $50 fee for incidentals, that is not mentioned anywhere on the website. This is a money pit scam. I'm supposed to get this $50 back after 3 to 5 business days, but why should this hotel have my money for 3 to 5 days? I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

I recently, checked into the Days Inn by Wyndham getting my reservation over the phone was pretty easy I checked into my room and came back a little later. I thought $109 you can't beat it until it was time to check out. I had to leave a $200 deposit. I thought this was kind of odd seeing that I paid with a credit card but what I found out later was this is just a way of keeping some of your money when it's time to check out so when I checked out, the young lady said she had to go check my room out when she came back, she said two of the towels were stained will probably so after taking a walk this morning so that's what the washing machine is for you wash them. She also said that there was a stain on the sheet probably where I set my toiletry bag on the bed so what that gets washed too they deducted $50 from my $200 deposit so I would be very careful because this is a game that they play, do not leave a $200 deposit they'll find a way to keep some of it I got a $150.00 back I'm gonna call the corporate office and let them know first thing Monday morning

Rude staff. Lied to Expedia about solving our maintenance issues. Wouldn’t fix them and said we’d need to “upgrade” to get a room without a heavily-leaking shower. Got confrontational.Noteworthy details: Save your money, go somewhere else.

If your ever in town and thinking about a stay at the Days Inn..do yourself a favor and drive right past this location. Don't stop in Turlock just keep on driving to Modesto Days Inn. There you will find welcoming, trustworthy, helpful humans working there. There are spacious, comfortable, clean rooms and professional housekeeping staff that are respectful, attentive and considerate of travellers and their well being. They also have a big sparkling clean swimming pool that always available when in season. The two locations you passed up do not deserve a dollar from anyone as they are staffed with dishonest, disrespectful, irresponsible narcissist types who will not look out for anyone's best interest but their own. They facilitate local residents to victimize their guests and if you request law enforcement they will throw you out for what they call a disturbance you caused when you brought police there for help. Then they themselves will contact law enforcement and slander you to have the police throw you out. And finally they will use this as an excuse to keep your deposit, your property, your vehicle gifted to a local tow yard. This is a true story. Please be safe
