Costco Tire center in Merced is HORRIBLE!! Employees always come up with excuses why they "can't fix" punctured tires in order to get you to buy new ones. Then , they promise tires will arrive within two days, but it always takes at least a week. You call them to find out why is taking so long, then they blame the delivery company...it happened twice with me within the last 12 months and the last time, I just got a refund and will NEVER return. Taking my business somewhere else! Went to America Tires, got new tires within a day and much better deal and better tires . Boom, learn how to do business Costco.

Cashier lines and self service lines move at a quick pace, do not have to wait long. Selections are hit or miss regarding quality though. Cannot beat the value on majority of their items available.

10/28/23 Alyssa doing samples by the frozen food section was so rude. Never have encountered rudeness at this Costco until today.

Great, friendly service at this Costco! I find the parking is usually easy and the store is clean and organized. The greeters are very nice. The selection of products is always good. The prices are great. The only item I find higher in this location is the grass fed organic ground beef. It's $5 less, consistently, at the Fresno location, where I also shop regularly. I did find it funny that I was carded at the self service checkout point, as I had already scanned my membership card. No biggie, I guess. I will return to this store again soon!

Both the door staff and the employees working the food court were rude, and made me feel like I was inconveniencing them.

I have always loved Costco merced for many years. Until today... we took my mentally challenged older brother to get him a new TV. We somehow got separated from my husband who was taking our groceries to the car. I didn't have my card for reentry. I was waiting for him at the exit doors explaining to Juan my dilemma . He just kept telling me I couldn't stand at the exit and to move out of peoples way. So I went to the entrance and pleaded with the guy to let me look for him. He was kind enough to do so! afterwards I was both relieved and angry, I let Juan know what he didn't was really sh*#+y!! He just laughed at me as I started to cry. Maybe Costco can consider hiring some empathetic workers!! They have MANY of them!! Someone like the dapper gentleman at the door versus Juan who thought the situation was laughable!!

This review is strictly for the tire shop. I called in to inquire about new tires as I was due for new ones. The person working there is rude and very impatient. You know how people act when they hate their job? Yeah, take that and add 10,000 and you'll get the guy from the tire shop. I even overheard him being rude to a customer there. He is someone that should not be in a customer service position. After that horrible experience, I went to a different tire shop and purchased tires. I was ready to get new tires too so Costco just lost a customer. Oh well. Hire someone better, Costco.

I always go out of my way to give kudos on reviews where they are due. This evening at 5:45pm I was getting gas at Costco for my blue Kia Stinger. I was asking the gentleman manning the pumps if they also had air for tires (my sensor went on for my driver side rear tire), and he said I could have the gentleman at the tire shop check my tire for me. So I drove over to the tire shop and a guy with glasses was super friendly, and told me to pull up to the bay so he could check my tire. Sure enough, it was low. Only 28psi and it's supposed to be 36. He then checked the other 3 tires and they were all around 28psi so he filled them up too. Fast. Friendly. Didn't treat me like I was bothering them which was a plus. He educated me on weather change affecting tire pressure and to check my tires monthly.... and to not rely on my tire sensors. Noted! Thank you gentlemen for helping me quickly after a really long work day! It doesn't go unnoticed!

Was at Costco this last week.I go there for meats. Specifically beef.As you can see from my photos a bunch of meat cuts went up a dollar in price in just one day. This seems very unreasonable to go up a dollar in one day. Maybe incrementally increase the price maybe by 25 or 50 cents but one whole dollar. On top of the already expensive price for beef at this location it's ridiculous.I mean in LA county the beef for stew cuts are only 6.49 tops. How can it be that LA county a place with no cows has so much cheaper beef. Also this location doesn't have organic whole milk. Which is disappointing. Most locations have it but this location only has organic lactose free milk
