Brenda helped me open an account for my new LLC. She went thru the paperwork and got my account opened. I got my debit card and checks quickly and for free. It was really easy I just showed her the paper work from my LLaC filing and answered a few questions and I was set up. The tellers at this CitiBank are also very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this bank to anyone looking for a friendly, easy going bank experience.

01-13-2021 UPDATE: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Citibank Merced, CA branch manager redeemed why I should continue banking with Citibank another 23 years. She fixed a technical issue with my checking account Privacy Options that Citibank Customer and Technical support departments in the Philippines could not fix after 3 hours on the phone. If Experian Boost credit monitoring service can now have Citibank share my on time payments and boost my FICO score we can refinance all our rental properties and save $60,000 to $100,000 in interest over the next 10 to 15 years. Thank you Merced Citibank for saving us more than enough to pay off our new Lexus. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I have always received service that was both pleasant and efficient at the Merced branch, always greeted in a friendly manner. Parking is not great, but forces me to comply with my fitbits request for more steps...

I have never experienced worse service at an ATM. I was disappointed with the service inside, so pay my bill using the ATM. It NEVER works correctly. If you make several attempts, it sometimes works. But usually, like today, it won"t work at all. I will not use this card any longer. It's connected to Costco, so I'll contact them, too. I'm sure they will care.

Worst bank ever in my 20 years with Citibank. Bank tellers can't count. Hand her a stack of $20 bills and asked her to use machine. But no, she has to impress me with her counting skills. Declares $400. I tell her 'You don't know how to count. Use the machine.' I take back my money and return to line for next teller. Second teller does the same thing and counts $400. Wrong again, I complain to branch manager who back talks to me 'It's their preference to count'. I challenge manager 'Not my preference if they count wrong.' Teller finally uses the machine and I tell her 'If you had counted using the machine none of this rigoramol would have happened.' The machine counts $600, tellers count $400. Third incident that tellers try to short change me on cash deposits. Complained to corporate. Their ATM chokes on a big stack of bills, otherwise I would prefer ATM for cash deposits.
