I bought windshield wiper blades at Costco, but their tire shop would not install them for me. I am 76, and clueless about car stuff. I stopped at Carquest on the way home, and Carmelo got those puppies installed in no time, with a smile. I didn't even buy anything from their store, but his service was remarkable!

Usually buy parts from orileys. Needed a belt and carquest was a little closer. Belt was 26.00. Thought it was high but bought it anywayChecked price with orileys later and the same brand belt was 1297. If you want to get ripped off go to carquest. No one was there when i was and now i know why.

First time visiting this business and I will definitely bring my business here from now on. Excellent service. Very friendly. Carmello was courteous and took care of what I needed. He went above and beyond my expectations. He came out to verify the type of car to make sure I received the correct parts for my vehicle. The place was very clean and neat.

I’ve bought a few batteries from here. I called someone at the store to see if my warranty would cover a one of my barriers that I purchased 10/01/2018 (Chris). He said it will and I can come in. He never told me the exact date, I found out after. I told him I’m at work and I know they’re closed Sunday, so if I can come in Monday. He assured me that it’s fine. I like 25 minutes away but when I came in. The guy in the front said he’s the “manager” and he can’t do the exchange because I purchased this 10/01/2021. I explained him the situation but he didn’t care. He was rude from the start. No customer service. I always go here for my car batteries but I’m very dissatisfied.

My battery died while Merced VW was servicing my car. The mechanic left the inside light on. So when I picked up my car after hours on a Saturday, the battery was dead and wouldn't accept a jump. VW had no service engineers to replace the battery. I had come hours on my bike to get the car and I was not about to ride home. Fortunately Carquest was right next door. So I asked the manager Justin if I could purchase a battery for my VW. He had what I needed, so I asked if he could install for me since I had no tools. And the battery for my diesel was quite large and hard for me to lift. Unfortunately his replacement guide says it is to difficult for the store to do, mainly because you have to remove a wiring harness on top of the battery. So Justin showed me the tools I would need to purchase to do the job. He even lent me a 1/4" drive ratchet and extenders. I removed all the harnesses and Justin did the heavy lifting of removing the old battery and dropping the new one. The new battery worked great and soon I was on my way home with my car, and a nice 1/4 in drive socket set to keep in my car for the next time this happens (I added the wrachet and extenders I would need as well). I recommend this store because they had the parts I needed and were friendly and knowledgeable, and even willing to go the extra mile to get me back on the road.
