Artisan Construction and Design officially began in 1999. Following their first year of operation, Artisan Construction & Design was publicly recognized with two Chrysalis Awards for Excellence in Residential Remodeling.
In recognition of Artisan's high quality, the company has received multiple Chrysalis Awards and multiple CotY Awards for projects over the past years.
In 2002, John Price received the prestigious Chrysalis Award for Remodeler of the Year for the State of California; in addition the same award for the Western Region of the United States as Western Regional Remodeler of the Year. John was further honored in Merced as Small Business of the year in 2009.
