Excelente service in the meat department. We go the Chavez for the excellent quality and great tasting meats and fish. Very clean and organized store. The pan dulce is the best in town. I love when we get there and it's still hot from the oven.

Taqueria : The steak they use for the burrito sucks. Expensive, small portion, and last time every piece was chewy grissle... 5 star for the grocery store though it's great.

One of the only few places that offers a Cali burrito and only reason why I would come here. Their al pastor Cali supreme burrito is big enough to fill you up but not massive where you're stuffed and regret life. I'd avoid getting the pork chorizo and marinated flap meat (aka carne asada/ arrachera) simply because the flavor of the meat is terrible. The chorizo was the worst I've tried in NorCal and had to throw away the one pound of meat after trying it out. I had ordered the marinated arrachera and was really disappointed to find no flavor or coloring with it. If you're looking for meat to cook with at a bbq or just want to make tacos, skip this place.

I love having a grocery store within easy walking distance of my house. I pop in here frequently for eggs or when I run out of onions. It doesn't have many of the items I use regularly so this will never be my main grocery store, but it has helped me out in a pinch on more than one occasion. I do wish it had a bigger selection of higher-quality items and was a little cleaner.
