US Bank is a scam bank, they often deny checking sign up bonus promotions after customer is on board! Copy of the letter is attached they sent me when I inquired why I wasn't being credited with the bonus after 6 months of opening the account! I replied their email, nothing resolved yet! Hi Customer Care, That's fine. However, as a customer, I deserve some transparency. When I opened the checking account I confirmed the requirements with US Bank's Menlo Park Branch. I did the required direct deposits (2 3k deposits from my employer), maintained balance. Few months ago, the branch confirmed that I completed all requirements (qualifying activities). They told me to wait 60 days. Then, 3 months passed and I contacted customer care online. The agent confirmed I completed the requirements, told me to wait a bit more and that it will be credited. I wasn't credited I contacted again, This time an agent named Karina opened a case (Ticket# 785937) and about two weeks passed since then. I got a paper mail that states that I don't qualify. I feel very much unwelcome. If somehow this was communicated to me earlier I would very much appreciate it. I feel like I had been treated poorly over this promotional credit and that quite some of my valuable time has been wasted by the bank's agents, back office etc. My patience had been tested to its limits. I extremely regret opening the account with your bank. Nobody, ever f'ing told me that the promo had fine prints like this that it has to be mailed to the customer while I visited the bank and when I talked to customer care. You guys cost me time. And, after 6 f'ing months you guys tell me that the promo had fineprints. What a scam bank!!! I have attached the promotion flyer by the US Bank that I used to open the account for further verification. Sincerely, Deceived Customer (time wasted in vein)

Walked into today needing a wire transfer for a home purchase. My first home purchase after 10 years of saving. I was informed when I walked in at 1:30PM that the cutoff for wire transfers was 2:00PM and the manager was on lunch. I reiterated that it was for a home purchase and was urgent. Then the teller went to a side room and I heard "Hey we got a wire transfer that needs attention". Then she walks back and says I can't be helped. Now knowing that the manger was less then 10 feet away and couldn't take the time to spend 5 minutes of their time to help me with a urgent and major life event upset me. I looked at the teller and asked "Really?". Then I was told to go to the Redwood city location. Then I called it for what it was and said "That's really f#*ked up" and then walked out so I could hopefully make it to the Redwood City location to get a house for my wife and 3 kids before the cut off of wire transfers at 2:00PM. On my way I get a call from them saying they can me now. They can help me now after I called them out for their horrible customer service? Hell no and they don't deserve my business or your business. Closing my bank accounts as soon as I can. Great work Silvia Lopez.

This is a belated review for our loan officer Mark Linton, a super helpful and wonderful person. We got our loan proceeded easily and quickly as we got helped from Mark, he patiently guided us through every step and promptly responded our questions even some stupid ones. The most important thing is he got us the best rate to buy our house! He is an angel with money wings Highly recommend him to anyone that needs a loan for their life.

We had to do a complex financial transaction involving many departments of USBank to finance our dream house. Alex, the branch manager, stepped in and coordinated the project and met all deadlines. Due to his efforts, we successfully closed on the purchase and the house is now ours! Having a committed personal banker at a local branch made it possible. Thank you Alex and USBank!

Mark Linton is the best loan specialist we have ever worked with! Mark is incredibly pleasant. He guided us through the purchase of our home and provided us with such a great mortgage rate. Mark tirelessly worked on our loan and he exceeded our expectations when he responded to our emails and inquiries, even during the evenings and the weekends. We couldn't have asked for a more patient and knowledgeable loan specialist to work with. He's familiar with parent to child prop 58 transfers which other banks had no clue what it was and how to deal with them but Mark has experience in this area which really helped us. We definitely recommend him to our co-workers and friends!

Working with Mark Linton was a great experience. He worked under a serious time crunch to get everything approved for us on our first home loan and made sure to walk us through everything (as we had limited knowledge of the process) and made sure we felt comfortable. We were approved and able to close on our first purchase because of Mark. He was available at all hours for us and was extremely responsive. We would recommend Mark to anyone looking to get a home loan!!

I have been a customer of USBANK for over 6 years and I am always wondering why others would bank any other place!! Never lines, great people and exceptional service. Yesterday I needed to wire money. I arrived at this bank and was told that 1:30 was the deadline to submit wires... I was unaware of this time constraint ,,, no problem Eva for Aiyub Ali, Aiyub said he would take care of it first thing in the morning next day.. He was an angel and relieved me of a stressful situation... I am very grateful to Aiyub for the wire was sent in time and he did it with a smile.. My wife and I closed on a refinance last week with Mark Linton of US Bank. Mark was awesome! He returned our call, while away for Christmas Holiday, and take our application over the phone. There were no surprises throughout the process. Mark kept us well-informed and collected the proper information from us early to keep things moving smoothly. Underwriting hasn't been easier. We also got a chance to work with Silvia Lopez, Mark's banking partner, to take advantage of additional products US Bank had available. Mark and Silvia are great! We highly recommend them...

i had the single worst customer experience ever. US Bank communicated that i had a transposed number on my autodraft via snail mail, which resulted in fees. What's more, I could not make a simple payment without additional fees. Go elsewhere for your banking needs.

Today I received an email notification of a fraudulent charge to my debit card. I had auto email notifications set up because about a year ago I had a similar problem. I immediately called my branch- this is about 1040am btw....it rang and rang and rang and rang....I hung up...called back immediately.....rang and rang and rang. No answer...from my bank..mid business day! Appalled and upset over the charge I hung up and called the 800 number. Why did I call my local branch first? They know our family....they know me. I thought I'd get faster service and was panicked about someone using my card. After taking care of the issue with the 800 people, I called back to let them know that I was really upset they couldn't even answer their phone during business hours. Jaime told me "there were 7 people currently working!" He didn't seem to believe me at all. So between 7 people no one could get the phone despite it ringing endlessly??? Ayub is the ONLY reason I go there.

Everyone there is very nice and helpful. I even received a hand written thank you card from an awesome lady named Sylvia after opening an account with her. I never had that from any other bank.
