Not helpful. Any time there is something complicated, they refer you to the adams street main office. When I go to the adams street office they say the Sharon Heights branch was incorrect. The ups store in Menlo Park on El Camino is much friendlier

Tried to send two boxes, but was told I needed to either print my own labels. Or, they can print them for $4.23 a piece - which is roughly half the cost of shipping. Seems like they've got all of the information and it's already paid for, but they're trying to nickel and dime me. I don't have a printer at home because it's 2023, but I declined and printed them at work.Returned with the boxes, printed labels, and a smile to greet the staff. No one else was in the store, but I was immediately told "we don't take open boxes" and was coldly asked to go tape my boxes. After a look of incredulity, and repeating back the orders I was just given, I was offered a strip of tape for $1.50 each. My jaw hit the floor and I repeated the insane price knowing Safeway nextdoor offers whole rolls of tape for less.In all fairness, the staff taped the boxes as a "one-time favor" in the end. What a racket.

There are people that not cut for customer service. If you are one of them, make sure you work somewhere you don't interact customers. No greeting, no thank you and acting like she was doing me a great favor. Yesterday and this morning the same...

Usually, when I go to other USPs offices, I am greeted with a smile and a good mood from the staff?. But at this office, everyone is gloomy☹️. It seemed to me that 2 shifts that work there hate their work. Although they do work well?, you feel as if they did it to you with a favor . And no smiles, what are you!

Went there yesterday for livescan, the person at the store didn’t have access to the machine and asked me to come back at least 10 minutes before the closing time any other day. Went there today 30/35 minutes prior to the closing time a different person at the counter said it closed already. At least they could give out correct information.

We are used to being respectful and being respected anywhere we shop in the area. One day we had a friendly, helpful, efficient male employee serve us and another day a different male employee who was rude and contradicted us when discussing the job. Not good!

The ups store has turned into a huge rip off ... not only are the shipping prices sky high. They want to charge you for using one piece of tape ... so dumbI want to update this review and give them 0 stars. I came in to get a very small box shipped from California to Texas. They wanted 15$!!! I went down to the post office and got it shipped for 4.20$. This place is 3xs the price of what shipping should cost. Avoid like the plague

Brought in 4 pre-paid boxes, should take the clerk less than a minute to scan and pass on a receipt. After standing in line for about 5 minutes I was told" it will be about 20 minutes I'm starting a notary"Can you scan my boxes first they are prepaid.? No he's ahead of you.. there were 3 people behind me all with the same prepaid boxes/ labeled.. thought this was ridiculous. 4 people waiting for 20 minutes rather than make one person wait just one minute? In a cramped space? a very poor process.. we left.. never going back again.

This store needs to burn to the ground.I have never had any issues with returning items from Amazon to UPS. My mistake was visiting this awful location.I dropped off 4 Amazon items for return via QR code. Usually, the person takes my items, scans each QR code and packages them up and sends them back to Amazon. I get an email and refund from Amazon literally as I'm standing in the UPS store.With this store, they scan all 4 items, take my items, and I assume they'll ship them back.I only receive 2 refunds and the 2 other still show as not returned to UPS. I check the tracking for both on my receipt and all it says is "label created".There is no number to call this store directly. I'm not sure why my returns didn't get processed but this store seriously sucks.Very frustrating. Nobody should visit this location, there are far better locations elsewhere, owned by honest people.

I ship a lot of packages. some are very high value. Without a doubt, this is the best, most pleasant, and friendly shipping store. I cannot give a higher recommendation. I do not even live in Menlo Park but use this store because my repeat experiences over several years have been so good!

For years I've actually driven a bit further to go to this UPS store (there is another one closer to me). I've always had good service. Today I made an appointment to get 5 documents notarized and then makes copies. Maribel was fabulous. So kind, super professional, very thorough, competent and detail-oriented ---but also very fast. Thanks!
