Neighborhood gem with lovely seating on their terrace. Everyone enjoyed their food, the seafood was fresh and my pasta was tasty. My boyfriend had the chicken parm and loved it. Excellent service throughout the evening, we will definitely be back. ?

Wonderful service is the first thing you notice when you walk in the door. The host and waitstaff are always extremely welcoming and professional. Our wine selections and main courses were superb. My wife's spaghetti al pesto with chicken was fantastic, made with fresh, made in-house pesto. It's her favorite. My pan-seared sea scallops with provencal sauce was equally amazing. We ALWAYS have a wonderful dining experience at Trellis. Thank you!

What a lovely little restaurant. We ate upstairs on the patio. Perfect weather and charming place to eat. The service was amazing. I believe our server's name was Eduardo. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. The food was fantastic. Eduardo recommended the “Susie” special pasta. It was so delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great good and attentive service. The dishes are classic Italian as is the decor. We enjoyed a juicy and delicious fillet mignon and sides, with yummy gnocchi as a starter. Excellent service. They make you feel it's a special meal!

I have been to this restaurant before and loved it. We were staying in the area and our 40th wedding anniversary fell while there. We chose to spend it enjoying the most perfect meal back at the Terrace... The owner is a breath of fresh air... the service is top notch... and the food wonderful... Thank you for a wonderful 40th anniversary night♥️

First time for us at Trellis. We loved food, service and ambience! So sorry we had never tried it before...it is a gem in our neighborhood. It will be a regular for us in the future!

This was a great atmosphere for a date— very quiet and good for conversation. The food was pretty good; but I bit underseasoned for my taste. It was hard to order; especially cocktails. We had to repeat ourselves several times.

Our "go to" neighborhood restaurant! Food is ALWAYS GREAT, service impeccable, and prices moderate. Also, roof top outdoor dining is the best on the peninsula. Menlo Park is lucky to have Trellis!

Excellent restaurant which makes you feel like you are in a terrace in Italy enjoying great food and service. The food was amazing and so was the service. The desserts were also fantastic, all home made. Highly recommend it. We did not have a reservation and they graciously found us a table.

This restaurant is superb! The food was delicious, the wait staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. The rooftop dining patio was beautiful and a pleasure to dine on. I highly recommend Trellis for a special occasion or a nice evening of dinner out.

We are relatively new to Trellis having been taken there by our good friend John. From the moment you enter you feel like you're “home”. In addition, the menu is quite extensive and the food delicious. One gets the impression that ALL of the staff love their job!

Plating and presenting a dish can have tremendous impacting on the dining experience. For me it starts with the eyes, smell and all the other senses follow. Trellis did not disappoint any of my senses. The plating and presentation of my dish was perfect and the taste was equally impressive. It’s was just a well prepared and well balanced flavorful dish. I tasted the tomatoes, the garlic, onion, and a hint of wine playing in the background in the sauce. The pasta and thumb-sized prawns were cooked to perfection as if they were competitors vying for my taste buds. It was a tie because I devoured the dish. Oh, and the honorable mention is the warm rustic buttery Italian focaccia bread that’s crusty on the outside and pillowy on the inside, yum?

Loved this place.
The owner and staff were SO, incredibly, kind. The food was very delicious! It’s a welcoming kind of energy that makes you feel like you’ve been going there for years even while it’s your first time.
Looking forward to our next evening at Trellis.
