“I was recommended San Carlos Auto Solutions that owns a similar high-end car like mine. Kenneth and team did a fantastic job in my car, including the breaks, transmission fluid, radiator fluid, and new engine oil. I’m definitely going back with my cars.”

“This family owned business did another great maintenance job on our Audi, and Jaguar. Very friendly, and thorough in every aspect of all the work they perform. Steve and Joanna too.”
“Took my older BMW there with concerns about the gasket valve. The team there did an excellent job replacing it and were able to detect another issue that had gone unfixed for some time. Great communication, incredibly knowledgeable, and really good prices for the work being done. Will continue to support this team”

308 7th Ave, San Mateo“When my 2015 Outback started sputtering while accelerating at lower speeds, I took it to Carlsen Subaru and they couldn’t diagnose it. Stevens Creek Subaru told me it was a coil pack, which they replaced, but that didn’t fix the problem either. They did discover seeping engine oil and quoted me such a massive bill that they suggested I buy another car. Thank goodness I found Barinder and Boxer Specialist. He discovered Stevens Creek put in the wrong coil pack, resealed the cam carrier and my Outback is running perfectly again. From now on I’m only going to Boxer. I highly recommend.”

“Fair price and fast turnaround on repairs. No nonsense. I went in twice. The first time they figured out an issue with my gas tank and had a fix that was cheaper (I had said I wanted to save money). It worked for a week and I unfortunately had to go back. They very quickly fixed it with a new part and kept it very affordable!! Thank you for being awesome, Reynoso team!!”
“Really happy I took my son’s car to T&S. The car was juddering when changing gear. We assumed it required a new transmission. T&S diagnosed and fixed within a few hours and the car is now running like a dream. No new transmission required - just a fluid change and calibration. Thank you!!”

Jeff took the time to properly diagnose the leak. I left with a car that looks and feels new. He even spent an extra 20 min to walk through everything with me. Thanks so much! Highly recommend this shop!”

2415 Old Middlefield Way, Mountain View“This is the best place to get your car fixed for a fair price. I took my Acura tl 2007 for an small issue and requested an estimate to fix an oil leak. The dealer Honda, gave me an estimate of more than $4000 to fix the problem, they said head gasket, oil pan, bla bla.
At this place you will find the most professional an honest mechanics, they fix my oil leak, it was a cicilinder rectification for 1/5 of what the dealer was charging me and after almost a month my car is feeling good and everything work's fine by the way my car has 303,000 miles and still running well, no issues at all. Thank you! This is the place to take your car.”

81 Pioneer Way, Mountain View“My daughter brought her Toyota Prius to Yarnell's because she had some leaking fluid. Yarnell's was very efficient and affordable and fixed the problem right away. We were pleased. So I decided to bring my Subaru in; I had a clutch that had been improperly installed by a different shop during prior service work, and it was very grabby/juddery in first gear. Yarnell's knew exactly what the problem was and were aware that a specific type of spacer is needed on Subaru's - it's not something that is often even documented by Subaru. But Yarnell's work on my clutch fixed the problem that the prior shop had caused and now my clutch works perfectly. The clutch pedal was incorrectly adjusted by the prior shop as well; and after getting the clutch replaced by Yarnell's I noticed that with the new clutch and the bad pedal adjustment, something didn't feel quite right. When I brought the car back to Yarnell's they were super responsive and fixed the pedal adjustment right away. While I would have wished that they had caught that the first time, I'm still very satisfied that in an imperfect world where "stuff happens", Yarnell's was able to take care of me and get everything sorted at no extra charge. I will be returning to Yarnell's after my great experiences there. (And by the way, their work was less expensive than the prior shop's bodged efforts!)”
“Great group of people!! Took my 850 turbo in to diagnose a check engine code I had and they got to the bottom of the issue. Ordered the parts I need and happy to know what my root problem was. A little on the pricey side but experience doesnt come free… def coming back here again for anything beyond my skill setService: Auto engine diagnostic”
“A few months ago, I took my 2018 VW Atlas in for an oil change, tire rotation, and recommended 40,000 mile maintenance. Their mechanic left air in my brakes and, as I was driving to work, the brake pedal went to the floor and I was unable to stop my vehicle if it was going at speeds above 30mph! When I drove back to the shop, needless to say, I was not happy. After leaving it to flush the air from the brake line, Jim (service manager) apologized profusely and summarily fired that mechanic (who also said I needed rear brakes replaced, which Jim inspected and said was not the case, saving me $600+). Jim then gave me two free oil changes as compensation. They do excellent work, are communicative, and, as is clear from the above, have INTEGRITY!”
“I brought a couple of jeep axles in to have the bearing retainer ring pressed on. I figured a labor charge of 1/2 hour or so. I was not charged a penny. Reminds me of a phrase I heard "I don't want your money, I just want your business"”
“My experience with Robert was awesome, highly recommend choosing A+ Japanese Auto Repair. They don't try to upsell you and instead focus on making sure that you are taken care of and stay within your budget. Two thumbs up!”

I trust them with my Promaster camper van. If you have a class B RV, consider make this shop your go-to service destination. You will not be disappointed.”
“I recently went to the shop as my vehicle had some MIL issue. I was very satisfied with the service I received from Nick. My vehicle was repaired on the same day. I think the price was fair as well. I'm glad that I've found a great mechanic in the town.”
“Over the pass years, Roland is my go-to guy for my minivan. If you are looking for reliable, professional and reasonable price for fixing your car, just go to look for Roland. He always finishes the job as promised and never let me down. Highly recommend!”
“Ricks the man.. he does great work and you can tell he cares about what he does. The work is detailed and nothing gets overlooked. Good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't good but everything I've been priced for has been fair”
“Researching for shops to put in engine was difficult and when found company no one wanted take for me and my car. Neigbor friend recommended this shop and when arrived I realized I knew this familiar face. I got great customer servic, friendly clean shop. They gave me quote 1 day, and my engine ordered arrived within day two and car back to me less than week. Also, they showed me my new engone being installe. I am impressed and will recommend all my business to SM Motors. Fair pricin.”
“I would recommend Carl 6/5 stars if Yelp allowed me to. Carl is a no nonsense, friendly mechanic, who is honest, passionate, and knowledge in everything about cars. My first service here was for an alignment after America's tire directed me here. Carl did an inspection for free of charge along with my alignment when I raised some issues with the vehicle. He gave me a straightforward answers and recommendations on what could be done, and even what he would skip or do if needed. It was great experience and value, considering another highly reviewed auto shop in the area wanted $210 only for the inspection before any work is done. The second service, I had Carl work on my 2013 rav4 AWD. He got my car road worthy within the day, gave me update son everything and anything that would need to be serviced, and only checked that things I was majorly concerned about. He never once tried to upsell me or cause any sort of safety fear in order to get me to do a service. Today, which is why I decided to write this review, Carl saved me $1100 dollars that I would've spent at Wheels Works for "supposed" warped rotors, which I had mentioned to the front desk. When I called Carl for a second opinion and quote, he immediately knew Wheel Works was attempting to upsell me on brake services because: 1. He had just inspected my car the week beforehand and serviced it. 2. He asked why they didn't mentioned which rotors were warped instead of giving me blanket answers and immediately wanted the work signed off on. 3. Told me that if the rotors were, in fact, warped, he would work on them for $450 per axle that was needed, and using original manufacturer parts only.”

1004 W El Camino Real suite B, Sunnyvale“TL;DR: quick, professional and affordable service
The skid plate on my car got dislodged at the car wash not too far from Tom's Auto Repair. After stopping by three other repair shops that turned me away, Tom took my car in on a walk-in appointment and reattached the skid plate for $25. I was in and out of the shop in less than 20 minutes. Thanks for the help!”
“After I moved out to another area 6 years ago (2017) and I am kept thinking to this shop since I had with them for a long period time as I am very and very satisfied to their services and repairs and Henry the owner too. I have missed them as well. Ken”
