This is a great old theater that offers many different kinds of entertainment and music. We have seen three shows there. We prefer the balcony since they have seating and a bar upstairs. Main floor is standing room unless they offer seating which depends on the type of show or artist. Ticket prices are moderate and also depends on artist. Easy to get to and parking is easy.

Terrific venue right in downtown Menlo Park. Great place to see your favorite band (X, of course), with lots of dining/drinking options ahead of the event. Or, bring along some krugerrands and drink up right there at the show.

Was there to see Night #2 of X's 'Smoke & Fiction' tour. My first trip to The Guild. Got reserved seating upstairs (because I'm Ancient). Great view, great sound, friendly staff. Everybody had a nice time.

Saw the early Punch Brothers show there yesterday. The theater is small, staff was all very helpful and the band was AMAZING! Punch Brothers is a group of virtuosos who never disappoint.

Wow the place is spectacular, and soooo small! The sound system is really unbelievable! When I say small I guess it was a small movie threatre. Really really small threatre. I'm guessing 40' deep by, looks like maybe 70' wide. 2 bars up and down. The Balcony upstairs seats about 40 in u shape. Just one row except in th middle. Then there's 2. Room for Maybe 20 standing by the bar. Again the sound is really great. And the place is small. I'm here to see X. The LA Punk band way back in the day.

This is a beautiful, well managed theater. It is a wonderful intimate setting for music. They did not oversell tickets, which resulted in a much better experience for guests. I would definitely attend more shows here in the future!

The Guild Theater is an excellent venue to see live music. Friendly staff, great sound, nice facilities, and the seats have excellent sight lines. Love this place!

Great small venue- just beware that it can be pretty crowded in the general admission floor area. I'm short and a couple of (ahem) tall men seemed to not realize I can't see through their broad backs, and their casual button up shirts don't render them transparent. ?
