On Sunday, April 14 at 10 AM I was in Safeway Menlo park. It was in the back of the store right by the bathrooms and witnessed a male worker come out of the bathroom still pulling his pants up and zipping. His hands were dry, and it was very very very very very clear that he had not washed his hands. Cringing I followed him to see if by any chance he did not work handling food. You can imagine my discussed and dismay when I saw him, enter the deli section and go to work. I was utterly repulsed. So Safeway management, it would really be a good idea for you to have food, hygiene and cleanliness, mandatory classes and reminders. This is exactly how huge problems develop such as E. coli outbreaks, etc. Do better

The ambiance is terrible: the place is very cold and you keep hearing on loud speakers someone calling up numbers! It sounds like a prison ward. The lines at the cashiers are always very long and the self-checkout computers break all the times. They use to have some European food but they cancel it all. This is the last place to go if you are about to die of hunger.

This place has the best hot food area... everything is delicious. It gets busy. I usually go around 1130 and it's fresh and hot and yummie....I've been twice and both times delicious ?
