This is my second time in the past 12 months coming to this location for tires (two tires each time). They are transparent about costs and since I had been there before, when I called for the appointment they looked up what I had done last time and asked if I wanted the same thing. I was offered an appointment for the next day. Install and alignment took about 2 hours. It was hot and I had my kids with me (we went to a nearby park to play while we waited). We were offered cold water and snacks when we got back for pickup (much needed, and SO appreciated)! Both times that I have been here, the whole team has been kind, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. They truly live up to the name. Five stars ?????

They did an awesome job my vans alignment was bad and I had a bad tire they replaced and fixed my alignment and the staff were very nice. Would recommend to anyone.

Very nice experience! The service is very comprehensive and high quality. The mechanics took many photos of the car components and offered detailed explanations. They even rated the problems they saw so it’s very easy for me to understand. The assistant manager Stephanie is not only professional but also an automobile expert! She answered all my questions related to the repair and more.

I brought my car in to have one tire replaced. The technician found $5K worth of suspension system repairs. Fair enough, as my car is 12 years old and has never racked up expensive repairs before. But on the drive after picking up my car, the dashboard tire light came on again. I can’t help but wonder, were all those suspension repairs necessary, or was I taken advantage of by a team that wasn’t interested in providing my car the care it needed?

Stephanie was the highlight of my visit. She has such a great personality and was a pleasure to be around while doing such a boring task like waiting to get your car taken care of. Everyone who worked there was very kind and professional. Will definitely be sure to use them for any future car needs.

I liked the appointment confirmation and status updates on the work when the car is there; live garage camera is neat too! Steph at the front desk was nice and really helpful. I came in with a list of pre-sale things to do on my 2023 BMW and we were able to work through them. Very fair price for the work

Excellent experience with customer service and service to my vehicle. They send you pictures, explain each recommendation, and are patient and kind. In my most recent visit, they had upgraded the reception area to be more welcoming and comfortable to wait in. And the person who assisted, Stephanie, provided exceptional customer service. I would definitely recommend this shop to folks.

Excellent service! Knowledgeable and consistently helpful. Had to get my car towed about 30 miles. Could have gone to a nearby shop but chose Stress-Free (German Motor Specialists) as I knew they would be able to diagnose and do the necessary repairs in a timely manner to make my car run again. Went in for an oil change and they told me to change my spark plugs without even checking if the change is needed. $1400.
I’ve been going to this outlet for about 2 years since it’s close to the Stanford campus. While the oil changes (~$300) seem to be on the pricier side, I was willing to pay a premium for the convenience and assurance that a good job would be done. The overall experience is pretty customer friendly as well.
However, the trust established was eviscerated after my last two visits. On the 2nd to last visit, a staff member had recommended a spark plug change because they didn’t see it in my car’s service history. I opted not to do it since it would cost $1400.
When I went back again this last Tuesday for my oil change, I was told I needed to make $3000+ worth of changes (including spark plugs). The staff on duty was nice and also gave me the option whether or not to change it. I decided not to do it because I found another service that could come to campus for around half the price.
When the other service came, they did a diagnostic and told me my spark plugs were recently changed and there was no need to do so.
The team at Stress-Free Auto recommended a change of spark plugs WITHOUT even checking if it was serviceable. TWICE. Trust was lost.
If you’re charging premium prices, the least you could do is to act in the interest of the customer. Never going back again.

I had to come here on an emergency basis as my car suddenly started making a weird sound in drive mode while I was in the area. Stephanie was extremely helpful over the phone and was able to fit me in. She was able to quickly diagnose the issue and they fixed it on the spot. True to its name this was a very stress free experience! Would highly recommend.

I brought my car in without an appointment. My car had broken down and l had just left Stanford from taking my mom to chemo therapy. Stephanie was completely understanding and took my car in without hesitation. The staff at Stress Free has always been excellent to me, I’ve been taking my car there for years and lm so happy to a reliable mechanic to take my car to every time l have issues. Stephanie was amazing! My car died and she helped me get it looked at quickly and they even found the bolt that fell out which caused all my transmission fluid to leak! Now I can tell the dealership that messed up my car what happened. Stress Free auto care is the best!
