I LOVE the xformer machine (it's by far my favorite) and there's only a few studios out here that use it. MPX was the closest studio to me so I tried them out first, and I'm so happy I did! I love their class format and their instructors! Granted, I've only taken it with one instructor so far but she's incredibly talented - she's patient, kind, mindful of everyone's differences (in terms of level/comfort/strength), explains proper form and how to engage different muscles (e.g., if you want to make an exercise more quad dominant vs glutes), and never forgets if there's someone in class that has a limitation and/or needs a modification due to an injury. I've tried a few other studios around here and the only thing they have over this one is better packages ($savings). If you can afford to splurge a little, choose this studio (sign up now!). I promise you won't regret it.

My sister took me to some classes as her guest and i became obsessed i had ti get my own. So far I've tried Leigh Ann, Sona, Carol, Aleena and Jenny and let me tell y'all you def get your bucks worth in an AMAZING workout! I've done a bunch of work group workouts throughout my life but MPX trainers are the best !

By far one of the best Pilates studios in Menlo Park / the entire peninsula. The owner Leigh-Ann and her staff are consulate professionals who knows their craft. I’m still sore from class 2 days later. Love the studio aesthetic and cleanliness.

I LOVE MPX. I've been averaging about a class a week and have felt myself become stronger--I even got complimented at one of my recent classes for my arm muscles! I run, swim, play tennis, and lift weights when I can't make it to MPX. But the form instruction, emphasis on slow and controlled movements, and combination of balance work with resistance, makes MPX a hands down better and more soreness-inducing workout than any of the most intense weight lifting I've been doing. My favorite class is Sweat and Stretch, where owner and instructor Leigh Ann runs a hard strength workout followed by a longer (than usual) session of stretching. Leigh Ann's physical therapy expertise comes in great handy here and the adjustments she makes to deepen your stretch are like the best part of the yoga workout when the instructor moves you once. In Sweat and Stretch, you can expect that with every stretch.The MPX studio is a really warm and welcoming place where people encourage one another after class and smile at familiar faces. The focus of instruction is on quality, clean reps rather than speeding through a heavier weight and so people go at their own pace.I've had classes from lots of the instructors in addition to Leigh Ann, including Jenny, Alena, Sona, and Carol. All of the instructors are energetic and clear in their instructions. I particularly love the way Jenny will explain moves to remind me not to take my hands further than they should go thereby making the exercise easier etc... She used to have to remind me often to put my hips back during giant X lunge but I've finally built the habit of better form!The studio space itself is kept so nice by Leigh Ann. The bathrooms are serene dreams with extra hair ties and spray dry shampoo for people on the run to their next thing. And the giant windows in the class let in the nice views of the street's trees.I can't recommend the studio enough!!!

I'm new to Pilates and love it. The instructors are encouraging, motivating, play good music, and have good energy. I've taken classes from Jenny, Alena and Leigh-Ann - each are different but they make for a good 45 min workout which usually goes by fast. The facilities are spotless, reformers new, good fans/ventilation, and nice bathrooms!

Took Leigh Ann’s 9:30am class and this workout is no joke. But what makes it even more meaningful is LA’s PT background. She educates on why we do the movements on the x former and her adjustments and kindness brightens up the room. Take her class, you won’t regret it!

I’ve done a lot of traditional Pilates as well as core 40. In my opinion this is the best blend I’ve found. Always challenging but fun, instructors are energetic, friendly, and helpful, and the overall vibe is great

Leigh Ann is an incredibly friendly, enthusiastic and positive instructor. Her cues and adjustments are helpful to make sure you are avoiding injury and exercising the right muscles. The studio itself is sparkling clean, light and airy. Highly recommend this new exercise studio in Menlo Park!

This is by far the best workout studio I’ve ever been to. The classes are so hard but manageable and I have seen a noticeable difference in my strength (and running and biking times) since starting at MPX. The instructors are hands-on and very attentive. Leigh Ann is amazing! The equipment is new and always very clean! I can’t recommend MPX enough!

I absolutely love MPX! Leigh Ann is truly the best and so are all of her instructors. The studio has such a great vibe, everyone is so friendly! There are also so many class times to choose from, which makes it so easy from a scheduling stand point. Regardless of whether you are a pilates pro or just want to try it out for the first time, MPX is the place!

Found this studio on Yelp and my cousin also recommended them! I am 7 months pregnant and I was so impressed with how attentive, Leigh Ann, the owner and instructor was! The class was super fun, challenging, and I felt safe throughout the class! She was always there to adjust the springs, make modifications, and help guide me. Excited to come back here and to bring my friends!
