1305 Willow Rd, Menlo Park“Small, independent, clean Hispanic grocery with taqueria.Stumbled in here because one of my projects is close by. First time I came in here was for some shrimp pico de gallo. It wasn't bad but just not living to the hype. The shrimps were hard. Cooked not raw. Maybe that's why. But I decided to try the taqueria in the back finally. I asked for a chicken egg burrito no rice and beans. Damn glad I did. They were sketch at first but I asked if they can do it or not. Their answer was in the burrito. Damn, they added pico, tomatillo sauce, sour cream and guacamole. That burrito was not only juicy it was delicious and screaming "Eat me! Eat me!" Sound familiar? Inside joke. Anyhow, I want to add this place is clean, organized and well stocked with all your Hispanic goodies. They have chicharonnes which I will have to try with their fresh guacamole next. Good eats folks!”
“I needed to get medication from the pharmacy. Unfortunately they were closed, I went to try to start my car, and it did not start.. I ended up having to leave it in the Walgreens parking lot. I called Walgreens and I got this really nice assistant Manager named " Johnathan".. he made sure to put a note on my Car, so it would not get Towed until I pick it up tomorrow.. his customer service skills were incredible.. I would highly recommend this store!!”
“This review is a for the bakery in back of the store - a separate business. It has all sorts of Mexican pastries, for prices that can't be beat. You can see them make the goods right behind the register. They're consistently good, and I bring my out of town guests hear to get a breakfast treat. You can often get some item just when they take it out of the oven in front of you - nice and warm. They only take cash. It's very informal. The grocery store in front is your typical neighborhood market, convenient for us since we live a block away.”
