Everyone was extremely friendly and professional: Yvonne, Dr. Chand and Cory Cooper. Selecting new frames was a fun and rewarding experience with Cory! I wasn’t aware of their promotion and walked out with two sets of lenses and frames because of his excellent knowledge and service. If you’re looking for new frames, ask for him!

They only want your insurance money.I went there to get contact lenses, did the whole exams. They gave me a prescription, which I assumed was for what I asked for (contact lenses). I called a few days later to order contact lenses, they told me they do not have any and it is best if I go to costco; so I did. When I went to Costco they told me the prescription does not have contact lenses and I have to redo the whole exam again. So basically I have to do all the tests again, pay for the exam and everything. And lens crafter would charge my insurance. Free money for them, waste of time for me.Also the doctor was not very nice, she was pushy and aggressive.

I have a young daughter who had an eye removed because of a malignant tumor . She asked me if she could wear transition lenses so attention would not be drawn to her missing eye. I came to Menlo Park Lens Crafter on El Camino Real to purchase a service they provide to other customers. Namely, changing a sunglass lens to a “transition lens” so it can be worn inside and outside. They would not sell that service to me because they require that I have a prescription (my daughter’s one eye is 20/20. She does not have a prescription.) Additionally, that my daughter come into the store (she’s in a hospital bed) so they can identify where her eye centers on the lens. Even if they had that data, it would not change the lens that is put into the transition lens . She has 20/20 vision in her one eye. I spoke to the manager who said she could not help me at Lens Crafters even though they provide this service. I was very disappointed for my daughter.700 El Camino Real #160, Menlo Park, CA 94025

I have a pair of Oakley sunglasses that were missing an ear sock (rubber piece that protects the ear). Oakley doesn't sell replacements on their website, but does sell them through authorized dealers. LensCrafters is an authorized dealer, and this particular one is within walking distance.I went in, asked about buying an replacement pair, and was asked if my sunglasses were bought through them. I had bought them through an Oakley store that was far out in the East Bay. As a result, I was told I couldn't buy a replacement pair through this store because I bought them from Oakley. Pretty dumb policy. As a result of the dumb policy, they also lost out on the sale of another pair of Oakley frames that I was going to buy for my new prescription glasses. That's just bad customer service, and bad policy. On the bright side, I bought a new pair of ear socks for my sunglasses on eBay after a minimal search.Edit: I forgot to mention that they're also one of the only places that doesn't accept VSP either.

Frozan was so helpful and amazing to work with! Don’t shop online, come in and get your glasses done right. She helped me sort the mistakes that were made with my online order and she was wonderful to work with!

I lost a screw for my eyeglasses. I found this LensCrafters location being cloest to my office. I walked in and Emy was able to fix it for me. Thank you so much for the friendly service. I would come back to make a new pair of glasses soon.

I was helped by Frozan today at the Menlo Park location. She was so helpful and so kind and really took the time to help me understand how to go about my purchase for new glasses and contacts. She know so much about the business and how to help her customers. Great experience!

I'm from out of town and broke a pair of prescription sunglasses. They had been stepped on and I thought were beyond repair. Went into Lens Crafters and spoke with Frozan. Not only was she able to fix my sunglasses, she also fixed another pair I had that was uncomfortable. She further explained why that pair had been uncomfortable for me and educated me as to what type of glasses to select in the future, comfort and fit-wise. I will absolutely return to Lens Crafters for my next glasses.
