Worst experience I’ve ever received. Tax preparer continued to have to call his manager because he wasn’t sure what he was doing. He provided me with the wrong information on what I owed (I’m glad I checked). He couldn’t figure out how to allow me to pay my fee to them (not my tax bill). He called me later to ask for my credit card number because “it didn’t go through on our end” and then hours after that I had to go back because he forgot to sign the documents he prepared as required. Would definitely not recommend and HR Block has lost a customer for life.

Phenomenal office, with many qualified tax pros working providing phone, virtual, and in office appointment options to meet anyone's needs during this pandemic, whether a personal tax client or small business. Would recommend to other, and Bita the office manager is so friendly, and accommodating along with the tax advisors. Also the CSP front desk staff Nathan and Nargis are very professional an went the extra mile to ensure I had a good customer experience.

Three stars on a good day, in person. It can take months to get simple taxes done, unless one is gifted with the nagging spirit. However, one star during a pandemic day. Yes, they are working from home, I know. But for those of us who are not, the idea of people resisting afternoon appointments (and I know some of my acquaintances work from 6:30 to 11:00 am -- that's a whopping 4.5 hours and then take the afternoon off and then resume after dinner with corporate phones now offline). That leaves those of us not working at home with no services. At least they are not on the East Coast, which requires West Coasters to attempt to get services at the crack of dawn. As for trying to make an appointment through H and R national? I did that! But poor communication between offices led to a cancellation and the incorrect tax topic, mode of service, etc. So, be prepared to offset H and R inefficiencies by putting in your own unpaid time. And listening skills by H and R? As their attention drifts to their whatevers (cats? kids? television?), be prepared to repeat things three to five times. Again, offsetting H and R inefficiencies with your own unpaid time. So even when working in the morning, these people are not really present. It is very strange.

They need to be better with upfront transparency of their service terms, pricing, and privacy policy before asking customers to hand over their personal information. Also, their online tools are horrendous and frustrating. That said, I feel the advisor I worked with was knowledgable and prepared my taxes accurately.

The process is always easy because the send me a preparation package ahead of filing meeting so I'm sure I have all I need to file in one meeting. I always gets decent refund.
