Amazing experience to make jewelry the way the old masters did it, under the brilliant tutelage of Davide. Students of all abilities and expertise work side by side, with the more experienced helping the newer students. After utilizing some basic learned skills, the student is free to design and fabricate anything that they so desire. The challenges are constant and the rewards from accomplishment are plenty.

Fun class. The instructor is very nice and knowledgeable, teaching you metalsmithing from scratch. Also you are mixed with other advanced students, so you get to see what you can do if you continue.

This business is so interesting to come and see. The jewelry is so modern. I purchased a beautiful, silver gold and diamond cuff. There are so many different pieces of jewelry available. I look forward to going back and seeing some more things when I am down in that area. The grounds where the jewelry shop is are lovely to walk around in. You can stop and have some lunch and see the other businesses that are available. The Allied arts building is a wonderful place to just wander around. Beautiful flowers and trees. There are at least six or so other businesses to go and visit as well. Take the time and enjoy.

The workshops are excellent. Davide is a great instructor. He shows you how to use traditional tools to manipulate and shape gold and silver. The shop is located in a beautiful location. Nothing compares to working on a custom piece of jewelry in a beautiful atmosphere.

Everything about Davide Baggazi Studio’s Textures of Tuscany experience exceeded my expectations! The utmost highest quality was offered in every detail, from the accommodations in a beautifully restored farmhouse to the amazing food prepared by the hands of experienced and authentic Italian chefs. In the workshop, I enjoyed the relaxed but professional atmosphere where everyone offered their ideas, support and opinions in a friendly and lighthearted way. Davide has a gifted way of lending his years of experience and expertise in a kind and encouraging manner as wellas offering the opportunity to try something new, and then seeing to it you succeed. The most unexpected thing I brought home with me feeling at home in and making new and inspiring friendships I will cherish forever.

I just completed a workshop in Tuscany, Italy with Davide- after taking classes in his studio in Menlo Park. California. What an amazing experience. Davide is a master artist and a gifted teacher. He allows freedom of expression while teaching the technique and providing feedback and suggestions throughout the process. The workshop in Italy was especially unique- it combined a Tuscan experience with superb food, implacable hosting and making new friendships. If Italy is too far for you, his studio in California provides the perfect setting for experiencing jewelry making. Thank you Davide!

Davide's studio is a place where you can let the artist within you venture out into a world of endless possibilities. A true instructor of the art, generous with his knowledge and time, and tools. He brings Florence to your doorstep ;)

Davide Bigazzi is an amazing and patient instructor. I have been a regular student for TEN years. Over this time I have grown as an artist and developed new skills. Davide fosters a wonderful community at his studio. We are like family. Lots of sharing, laughter and creative inspiration.

I took my first class at Davide's studio about a year ago. I am a retired physician and wanted to explore my creative side. I had never worked with metal and thought I would give it a try. It has now become a passion for me and I always look forward to my weekly class. The studio is warm and welcoming. Davide and his assistant patiently walk you through every step of your first project and you never feel intimidated by your lack of skills! The classes have students of all skill levels which is such a benefit. Everyone works on their own unique project and Davide instructs each person individually. Beyond your own project you learn and get inspired by talking to and watching what other students are doing. The studio has a wonderful vibe with students from many countries, backgrounds, and ages. I have rarely been in a setting where such a diverse group of people meet over a common interest. Students frequently bring home baked items to class for everyone to enjoy with Davide's espresso. Davide is genuinely interested in exploring what you want to create, and working with you to accomplish your goal. I highly recommend this studio and only wish I could spend more time there.

Came to the studio as a new student - no one greeted me --- took a seat and received alot of side eye from people on the other-side of the counter-- you know-- the regulars--felt mean girl club. Finally realized id never be able to be creative with all the negative vibe. As an educator myself, I would have expected a representative to at least greet new students upon arrival. It was class start time so I just left. Why bother! #Pretentious and #Artistic Had no idea these two things go together! I thought creatives were more open and communal. Maybe drop by first and don't buy a package your first time in - just get one class and see what I mean-- or -- check out the crucible in east bay-- much more real!
