I've made a few online purchases from Brogue and finally visited the store first time recently. The owner Mack was receptive and courteous. I was visiting from Los Angeles and had a quiet tight schedule so I requested him to open 1 hour early through email and he gladly accepted my request. The store was very cozy and had a nice environment. Keep in mind, this establishment doesn't target a wide customer base, so its operating hours may appear restricted. However, all their products are of exceptional quality. I've bought numerous items, and I don't have any regrets about any of my purchases. If you contact them via email, I assure you that you'll receive a prompt response. Thanks Mack, you've earned a loyal customer.

I recently visited Brogue and had an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, the store owner made me feel welcome and at ease.The store owner patiently listened to my preferences and made some great suggestions. The store owner had a wealth of knowledge about the different styles and fabrics and helped me choose the perfect outfit for my upcoming event.Not only was the store owner knowledgeable, but the store owner was also incredibly friendly and personable. The store owner took the time to get to know me and made the shopping experience fun and enjoyable.I was impressed with the selection of clothing and accessories, and the quality was exceptional. The prices were also very reasonable, especially given the high level of customer service provided.

Knowledgeable staff who provide valuable feedback without pressuring you to buy. The shop carries a lovely selection of great quality brands, which cannot be found readily elsewhere. Highly recommend paying them a visit if you’re looking for long-lasting, great quality shoes, clothes and accessories.

I walked by this store and noticed their collection of vintage jackets and shoes. There aren't many stores in the bay area that focus on this style of clothing so I was excited to go in and check it out. Mack, the owner of the store was extremely helpful without being pushy at all. He actually took the time to listen to what I liked/wanted and made some great suggestions. I have an upcoming event that I wanted to dress to impress at and this leather jacket was perfect. If you love vintage clothing and need an advisor who actually knows what he's talking about, I recommend this store. I give this place 5 stars because I would go out of my way to come back here. I live in Hayward and I would gladly pay the $7 to cross the San Mateo bridge just to see what they have in stock!

This is an interesting shop where you can find surprises. The owner of the store is very enthusiastic. He will introduce you to the clothes and shoes that suit you. You don't have to worry about how to match them. In addition, what surprised me, even more, was the retro decoration of the store, which was like being in the 80s. There are old coin-operated jukeboxes and silver jewelry from World War II.

Posting at 5:08pm. Store said they were open u til 6 today on the website. I sent an email saying I would make it before then.I live quite a bit away. Took me 45 minutes to get there. Arrived early (around 4:55pm) and they were closed. Now I have to drive home in rush hour. There is no phone number on the website so I couldn’t call.Sign on the door even had the hours.I give 3 stars because when I’d been there before they were very nice but this is very disappointing.

Who takes a two hour lunch from 1130-130 to close the shop? Some of us only get a little bit of time to get away. Clearly this store is meant for bourgeoisie people who don't work normal hours. Or perhaps at all.

Before Journeys started selling "unique" or classic sneakers in every mall in the country. This was one of the few places where you could find Onitsukas, Asics, or a pair of limited edition Adidas Londons. If your in area I highly recommend you visit this place. Oh, don't forget you wallet either, I did, and it sucked.

I bought a pair of Dita optical glasses at the store recently. When I was eyeing the pair in question, the sales girl told me that the store was partial to this style and put in a re-order as soon as it sold out. She added that the style was "hard to come by" and would take up to "6 month to restock." She closed the sale when she told me that the price of the model had gone up but I could have it for 2018 prices. A couple of weeks later I visited the Dita store in SF and learnt that the real reason this model was hard to come by was because it had been discontinued "years ago." According to the Dita sales staff restocking this model sounded implausible since the style was no longer being produced. Stocking old inventory is ok. Employing disingenuous information to make a sale is not.

Amazing menswear shop that stocks unique, hard to find items. Good Art Hollywood, Alden, Larry Smith silver, Valstar, and more. Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
