Absolutely disappointed. The customer service at this store is absolutely terrible. I went in trying to find a powder foundation and they had absolutely nobody in their store that could help color match my skin. I find that hard to believe that with all of the associates that were there nobody could help me color match. Needless to say this storeâs customer service failed in a big way.

Store is clean and nicely stocked however the atmosphere was uncomfortable. I was smelling the perfumes while my daughter shopped for her makeup while I was in the perfume section a random alarm to a box started beeping the associate came over after that and grabbed the box. But I noticed after that she kept hovering over me and noticed her at every aisle after or would catch her walk by looking at me trying not to be obvious but it just felt super uncomfortable and awkward.

I am only giving this review these high 4 stars, and my rating is mainly due to the assistance I received from Leilani. Other than that, everyone else I interacted with was dismissive, unhelpful, and honestly, quite cruel. Several representatives had an attitude with me and while they were upset that I had an attitude in return i never cussed nor raised my voice but i was super frustrated im not the type of person to go off people i was just highly upset.
Hereâs my story:
I placed a late pickup order at night for a gift that I needed the recipient to have by Friday.mind yâall THE ITEM IS IN STOCK AT THE STORE ! I am in Texas, and this was a gift I was sending to someone in California. Thatâs why I selected a store pickup order for the next day to ensure the person could pick it up on time. MIND YOU IT SAYS STORE PICKUP TAKES 2 HOURS or maybe more but definitely be ready the next day I have never in my life been treated like this at any Ulta in Texas.
The next morning, when I called to check on the status and see what time the order would be ready, I was told that my order wasnât even in the system. That immediately raised red flags and added to my stress. I knew the order had gone through because the money had already been taken out of my account. Still, I was passed around from representative to representative, and no one could tell me what was going on or why the order was not found
I contacted customer service multiple times and was repeatedly told, âI donât know,â with no real answers or effort to find a solution. At one point, I was gaslighted by a representative who insisted she had never spoken to me before even though I had someone in the car with me who clearly heard our earlier conversation, including her name. She told me the order would be ready in FIVE DAYS!!!! That same representative later contradicted herself and told me the order would now be ready in two hours instead of five days, which only added to the confusion.
Leilani was the only person who took the time to listen, showed empathy, and genuinely tried to help.I truly love people who love their job in the customer service field She eventually transferred me to her manager in hopes of getting more clarity. Unfortunately, the manager was extremely dismissive and simply repeated that the order would take five days offering no explanation or possible solutions. I explained how time sensitive this gift was and that I was willing to do anything to get it sooner, but no effort was made to help.
To make matters worse, every time I was transferred to the store manager directly or a higher up, they would pick up the line and immediately hang up on me. It felt like I was being intentionally ignored, which made the experience even more upsetting.
Learn from my mistake if youâre trying to send someone a gift in another state and need it quickly, just send them the money instead of placing a pickup order through Ulta. This experience has led me to prefer shopping through Sephoraâs online orders going forward, especially when ordering for someone who doesnât live in the same state.

I was not impressed with this store. Many ladies walking around asking to help you only to guide you to thee most expensive things in there. I went in twice looking for an certain eye liner they did not carry. Found one I liked but it was out of stock. Went back 2 weeks later and it was still all picked over. A girl working in there guided me to of course a eye liner that was more expensive and when I went to use the coupon at check out, what do you think happened? Not eligible on that item... hook line and sinker to get me in there. It was my birthday month also so I was looking to see what they offered for my birthday item... teenie tiny ity bity trial size items to pick from.
Overall, I guess if you need to go here for makeup and your facial needs or nails ect and you have the money to spend, why not. I personally was not impressed with this specific store.

Every time I come here I find something cool I like but this one closed early on Sunday and it was real shity cuz I went out of my way to get here on time it's like come on now 3:00 on Sunday that's not posted why they got to do me like that on a holy day trying to get my Mac on and my Gucci with my brightening cream etcetera you know

Worst Ulta, they never have things in stock or organized. Sales associates always seem to avoiding to help you. Not to mention DO NOT DO RETURNS here go to another location they act like itâs coming out of their paychecks. Avoid this location at all costs they need to be humbled.

We just came from this place. I wanted to see if I could try other brands than what Iâm used to. I usually just order online but Iâve been wanting to take my daughters here too. We finally went in for the first time after being in Menifee for 7 years. The lady by the front door was very nice. I just wish I stayed with her and accepted her offer to assist further. ??ââď¸ The lady by the Anastasia was VERY RUDE and JUDGEMENTAL. I was looking at the Anastasia eye brow stuff to buy and new foundations and asked her if she helps with eyebrow stuff and she just said no thatâs over back there, gave me a fierce judgy look, moved the high chair away from me and turned her back. I wanted to ask more about foundation to best match my skin color but she was almost trying to ignore me. Then 2 white young ladies approached and she was like night and day. All smiles and very very helpful. I was shocked and hurt and just left the store! Itâs a very disgusting behavior for someone who works with customers.

Cashier long hair with glasses (had no name tag on) was rushing through customers, when it was my turn I asked her if I could use my coupon for my transaction and she immediately said no because it âdidnât qualifyâ. I went to my car and applied the coupon on the same product in the APP and it DID qualify. I had to go back in and she had to do a return and ring me up AGAIN, when she could have just had the decency to check it right the first time instead of just trying to rush me out. She wasnât even nice about it, being that it was HER mistake.
