Went in for a clutch swap and 1 1/2 years later my clutch drops. Decided to look into it myself and the clutch was completely destroyed. I don’t think he bolted things down correctly which made the clutch grind and wear it out sooner. So I’m doing the job myself and turns out he stripped all the flywheel bolts which I need to remove in order to fully swap my clutch. There’s no way anyone else would have done it cause he’s the first one to work on the transmission since the car was made. Maybe for small jobs he can get it done, but for bigger projects you get what you pay for. It’s not worth going the cheaper rout. You get what you pay for.Service: Transmission

I initially took my 2004 Lexus RX330 with 223,000 miles to Sun's for a complete change of fluids. I found his work to be done promptly, professionally, and at a very competitive price. I also needed to have three spark plugs replaced along the rear bank. This work was also completed in a professional manner and required a great deal of manual dexterity in tight spaces with attention to detail. I highly recommend Sun's to keep your vehicle running smoothly. He would love for you to give him an opportunity to earn your business. John in Canyon Lake recommends him!

About two years ago he replaced the engine. It costs way more than he quoted but I did not mind. Unfortunately he never got the muffler back on right despite me going back to him multiple times. Today my truck engine is chugging. He stared at me like I was death as I walked over. He's a bit standoffish. I told him my engine was having troubles. He told me to go away. I told him he replaced my engine. He told me he didn't. I reminded him he had it on his rack for like three weeks. Then he remembered but said the diagnosis would be in 7 to 21 days and I should go elsewhere. I asked if he had any recommendations. He said no. I then asked how about places nobody would ever go to because they universally did a bad job. He said no. I asked if his cousin was in. His cousin speaks English and has a good attitude. He said no. Rarely have car problems, but when I did a friend strongly recommended Sunny. I'd borrowed a friends truck and it started leaking coolant. I changked out a few parts with no success. Took this old truck to Sunny. He was extremely busy (I now know why) but he had truck ready next day at a A very fair price. Waited many days to post this to make sure no problems popped up. Calm, honest and sincere.
