This company is a joke.my internet has been out for over a month!!! The customer service are trained to tell you you’re on the schedule for today and after hours will say tomorrow. Ya right it’s all lies!! I’ve been calling everyday and all they say is I’ll send an email to have the supervisor in your area to call you. No one will ever call. It’s what they say to get you off the phone. I had 2 technicians out and they won’t fix it they have to send someone else out. Why have techs that can’t fix anything. If you have a Choice of service providers pick any other provider. Stay away for Mediacom.

Hopefully this saves some headache. Worst service ever. Unfortunately the only carrier to provide service in my area. The internet goes out at least 4 times a day minimum. They are short 1-5 minute outages every time. There is nothing they can do to fix it. We’ve had them come out several times saying “it’s fixed” but it never is. I am moving from the area because of the internet service. Yes, it’s that bad if you work from home. Thankfully my company will deal with these outages for a few more weeks until my lease is up.

My internet has been going in and out for a few weeks, Devon and Aaron were there every step of the way and coming out at my earliest convenience to troubleshoot my internet and get to the bottom of it. After a week of trying different solutions they figured it out.

Complete garbage for the price. tvs (firestick tvs) were not working with the wifi and were told it was the wireless chip inside them bought fire stickes to use the tvs. Once we moved and got a way better service the tvs magically worked we wasted money on firesticks and never needed them the tvs are fine just mediacom is a complete waste and are only after your money DO NOT GET. The service can barely run a youtube video the most hated and the worst service ive ever had would rather have a old box cable tv than medicom

Sorry guys, this company just needs to give up on trying to be a provider. They don't know what they are doing. Please let Spectrum take over Menifee, California, you tried you failed and you ain't getting up your just limping around like a wounded animal your choice what animal. Going forward you guys can still make a difference Fire all your idiots and hire people motivated to make a difference it's obvious what you have now is NOT WORKING.

DO NOT GET THIS INTERNET . Power outage wayyy too often. Cannot trust the internet if you work off it .. could cost you 1,000s… even worse your job/ income for the month.

Worst internet/cable provider I've ever had. Internet is completely unreliable cuts out constantly. Do yourself a favor and go with another provider.

We decided to give Mediacom a try at our new house. They came out and the tech said he didn't have his tools to finish the job installing Internet and TV and we needed to schedule for another date. They came out for the second appointment 4 days later and couldn't finish the installation again. We were told we had to be there when they were in the house so we stayed for 5 hours. We had to leave and the installer said all we had to do was come back when they were finished and sign off. We went back but they had left and left the house unlocked. We waited for them to come back for 4 hours. We called and were told they were booked until 5 days later to finish the job. We are staying in a motel for $110 a dayThey would not accommodate us even though it was there fault. So, we are stuck waiting for.5 days to come and finish the job.I wish I would have gone with a more reputable and reliable company.y advice is if at all possible, never use Mediacom, they are truly horrible.

Actually the worse wifi company I’ve ever dealt with. Every time I call customer service they have no idea what’s going on, they barely understand what I’m saying and vice versa. Honestly seems like a shady company that is not legitimate at all. Ended up cancelling them because they kept overcharging me without any notice. Do NOT recommend.

If you live in Valley Center, CA, you will be guaranteed unreliable service. We have had Mediacomm since 2019 and there has not been a week where service has gone out. We have had numerous technicians out, been on the phone with tech support twice as much, and reportedly management wont get serious about fixing the problem. When it works, its good. But, the unreliability is a big setback. If you decide to go with Mediacomm, I recommend you have a second internet provider, like T-Mobile, because you will need a backup service and sometimes daily. Hopefully, Valley Center will get a provider more committed to providing quality, reliable service in the near future and we can all say goodbye to Mediacomm.

Hahahahahahaa I tried to have them as my internet provider, despite all the negative comments, but they are so unprofessional and nonreliable and customer service is a joke figured If I payed for the top of line service they offer I have a better chance at a better experience. BOY WAS I WRONG MY HEADACHE STARTED THE DAY THEY SHIPPED THE PACKAGE AND TRIED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT (FOLLOWING THE WELCOME LETTER STEPS) AND FAILURE TO APPEAR NO CALL NO SHOW to install service here's the best part they will tell you anything to get you. So before my headaches continue, CANCELED my never used service. TRASH TRASH TRASH , Better Business Bureau BBB rating of D WOW make sense failure company

Would give zero stars but have to give at least one. We have Mediacom internet only service in the Gulf BReeze/Navarre are of Florida. The service is up and down, and goes out quite regularly but the company never gives a refund for when they are not providing service, which seems very much like a breach of contract. The service goes out right in the middle of business meetings, which is very problematic for myself and a few of my neighbors. Additionally, at least once a year they try "upgrading" you to a new service plan without your knowledge or consent, then after a couple of months of recieving the "upgrade" the price gets upgraded too. They are banking on the fact you do not see that they changed your service and then show you that the price hike was to bring the plan you are on (without your consent) to the same price point that plan is offered to everyone else, supposedly. This company is nothing more than a bait and switch one and should be avoided, if able. Unfortunately, they have established monoploies in many parts of the country and are the only option.
