Walked by this place and decided to bike around town a Monday, owner wasn't in at the time we were ready to go but he left a note on the door with how to reach him and once we got a hold of him and told him we were interested in riding he was there within 10 minutes. The e bikes were fantastic he gave us a great route recommendation and it was so BEAUTIFUL. The bikes had 0 issues we got them fully charged and he provided us with helmets and the seat cushions are quite comfortable. It was about $50 per person for two hours. Highly recommend it to get a great tour of what Mendocino has to offer

Wow, I can't express enough how amazing my experience was renting e-bikes from Scott's Coastal E-bike shop! My buddy Sam and I were having a blast exploring the coastal views of Mendocino until Sam's tire ran into an issue on our way to Fort Bragg. But guess what? Scott came to our rescue! He promptly drove us back to Mendocino, saving our day and making us feel extremely grateful. Scott's outstanding customer service and willingness to go above and beyond truly impressed us. I highly recommend his bike shop to anyone seeking an unforgettable coastal adventure in Mendocino!

Easy rentals. We rented two surfboards and had a blast. Scott was informative and very nice.Edit:I come here every time I get the chance to visit mendocino. Super happy with Scott's responsiveness.

My husband and I both have electric bikes. Our nephew came to visit and we wanted to take him on a little bike adventure all through the hills of Mendocino and expose him to e-bikes. Scott at Coast-e Bikes was so chill, warm, and informative. He adds a fun, youthful presence to Mendocino. The bike was awesome. My nephew effortlessly road the bike and we covered 19 miles without a hitch. Such a delightful day and we will DEFINITELY be back to rent bikes with our friends who don't have them in the future! I say just do it!!

Awesome ebike rentals. Started around the bluffs in town then a long ride up Big River. Bikes were super comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommended! Look for the owner at the poke place just down the stairs to the right. And try the poke too!

Such a great experience! Scott hooked us up with a walk up rental, tips of where to ride, and we had an awesome 2 hour trip along the coast, into some redwood forests, and right up to the Big River. The E Bikes were in great shape and helped us explore way more of Mendocino than we thought. Thanks for the hospitality, Scott! We’ll be back.

My friend and I were staying in Ft Bragg for a few days and planned on grabbing an E-bike for rent. We only needed 1, since we brought 1 with us. We called the "local" bike rental to ask about renting one and the guy that answered the phone (I'm assuming he was the owner) was about as nice as a rock. Rudely informing us that THIS shop didnt rent E BIKES, and he didnt know ANYTHING or ANY PLACE besides HIS PLACE. Well, Mr Rude AS.....if I'd been looking for a regular bike rental, and happened across your place In would have NOT RENTED from you. It's as though you DONT want customers!! But, oh well, I've already moved on past that negative j**** and, thankfully, happened across this place in Mendocino, called COAST E BIKES. This place ROCKS!! The owner, Scott, couldn't have been a nicer guy! I'd never been on an E bike, but he explained everything so I knew what to do, told us where we could go, charged us up and we were off! We rented it for 24 hours but the next day was so awesome we just couldnt get back on time. we were like 3 hours late. Scot, again, was awesome! No charge for the extra time!! WHAAAATTT????? That just doesn;t happen anymore!! But it did, at COAST E BIKES!!! We had an incredible time riding the coast trail, the Headlands, Glass Beach.....it was EPIC!!! His bikes are way cool to ride. His shop is pretty cool too! This made our trip! If you want to have an incredible, awesome, epic, fun, whale watching experience you need to get down to COAST E BIKES, talk to SCOTT, let him hook you up......and see for yourself!!! Thank you Scott!!! PS. DONT waste your money or your time going to that "other" bike rental place. That guy's attitude sucks. Coast E BIKES ROCKS!!!!
