105 Auburn Folsom Rd, Auburn“Companion Vet Clinic is my goto for any need, whether emergency or preventative care. The staff go out of their way to get you in as quickly as possible. Everyone who works there, from reception, to vet techs, and Dr Bird are absolutely phenomenal. I am always treated with respect and know that any pet I bring will be cared for as if the pet were their own. Everything from spays and neuters, to an eye enucleation, I cannot sign their praises high enough. Affordable prices, quick appointments, and an easy location to find. You won't find a better Vet Clinic in Oregon for your Furr Babies”
“Have tried 5 different vets in this area over the last 2 years. Came here when I thought my German Shepard had a sprained shoulder, but turns out he had bone cancer. The doctor literally sat on the floor and was real with us but also empathetic. This place is so down to earth. No upselling. No getting you things you don't need. No surprise charges. No B.S. and fair prices. All of our other dogs come here now as I truly trust the doctor. All of the staff are very kind and nice. Perfect place for your pet family.”
“My aunt has been taking her dogs and cats there for years.. I believe their new name is Gold Country VetS. My aunt is 98 and her doberman is like her baby.. she has had 5 in the past. The vet, assistants and all of the employees are always kind and caring . My aunt is very hard of hearing so they write everything out for her. we are very happy with them and highly recommend them to others”
“I really wish that I could remember the name of the vet that helped me. I'm sure my chart would show. I think the assistant was Ashlyn. But I had the most amazing experience at this vet than I've ever had at any other vet before. they actually take the time to sit down and get to know you and your pet, and they don't make it feel rushed. Nowadays with the way insurance runs medical offices. Everybody is more like a numbers game. And you really don't feel that way here. And they got me in and out in less than 40 minutes for my first time here in establishing care with my dog. thank you so much.”

3524 KOA Way, Auburn“I wish we had more organizations like ASN. They are a very small team of truly dedicated and super efficient people who provide high volume low cost spay and neuter plus vaccinations for dogs and cats, both tame and feral. Each member of the staff is compassionate, professional and experienced. I accidentally started a cat TNR (trap, neuter, return) / rescue organization, and we depend on ASN to provide services for these cats and kittens. It is incredibly important in TNR for the spayed females to have incisions that are very small and tightly stitched, because we must release them quickly after surgery. ASN does amazing work! Every day, they do more surgeries than anyone could expect, and they do it safely and efficiently. The office staff is highly organized, which makes a huge difference, given the daily volume they work with. I recommend ASN highly to anyone looking for low cost spay or neuter resources. They are a model that I would love to see replicated!”

“I could not be more grateful, and I feel so fortunate to have had Jennifer come for end of life services for my dog. It was the most peaceful end possible, she really put me at ease as well, and I would recommend her to anyone in the same position.”

10868 Combie Rd # 130, Auburn“We rescued a purebred 7-year-old dog from a shelter in Oregon last July that came with hidden health problems including heartworms, inflamed bowels, and heart arrhythmia. Only the heartworms were revealed upon the dog's initial wellness checkup. Normally, that's all one might expect to be noticed in such a visit. So the three-month process recommended by the American Heartworm Association to eradicate the heartworms began with a 30-day course of the antibiotic Doxycycline. However, after 3-weeks the dog became critically ill. His liver began failing and Dr. Grimes suggested IV treatments at an emergency pet clinic, which are VERY expensive. We opted for home treatments of several supplements and meds; a much less expensive alternative. Our guy began to respond very positively and a few weeks later he was MUCH better. Then just before we (Dr. Grimes and us) were planning the next phase of the heartworm eradication, that would actually kill the worms, our dog took a downturn within a couple of hours that day. He collapsed on our floor and we had to carry all 60 pounds of him to the car. We rushed him to the clinic and the staff came out to the car and helped carry him directly into treatment. Dr. Hardy and ALL of the assistants immediately began triage, running tests, and providing every possible treatment to save his life. We were VERY gratified and appreciative of their amazing all-out efforts. It was strongly recommended we take him to an emergency pet clinic and the staff set us up with one of them. All the needed test results were transmitted directly to the emergency clinic, so when we arrived the staff there were able to rush into action to help our guy. The heart arrhythmia problem was revealed and the inflamed bowels were confirmed. Unfortunately, the prognosis was pretty poor, and we realized it was time to put our guy out of his misery. Sadly he was euthanized at that point, and we took him home to permanently rest on our rural property in Nevada County under a transplanted tree. All in all, we found the Animal Clinic at Lake of the Pines to be a great resource for pet healthcare. We can't say enough good about the service and staff there. Dr. Grimes gave us a call the day after our ordeal, giving us her heartfelt condolences. When we get another pet, we will definitely return for our new pets healthcare.”
“Dr Haas is awesome I come from south Georgia just to see her she has a great bedside manner and will tell you how it is in the softest way she can without sugar coating she has been my vet for more then 10 years and is the only vet I trust”
“If you need caring, competent, health oriented services for your pet. Or boarding for your pet. Animal Medical Center should be your first choice. They cared for our dog for 7 or 8 years until her last day. They are awesome.”

The veterinarian explained what the medical problem was and provided us with a very detailed rehabilitation program. Personally, I felt that our pet got a five-star treatment.”

“Dr. Roberts is professional, kind and very experienced. We acquired our awesome little boy Corgi from her in 2022. Felix had an issue that, considering Dr. Roberts history with him, we decided the drive from Reno was worth it. Very reasonably priced. Quck diagnosis and medicine prescribed.”
“We had a great experience with this vet clinic. They were able to get us in during an emergency - the staff was calm, competent, and our girl came home with us safe and sound! ? thank you, Meadow Vista!!”
