I have been a long time customer and volunteer. I love Miranda's. It's a beautiful thing to be able to help others in need that are in need of love. We're all kinda broke. So it's a good feeling to help out. You never know Who will walk thru the doors ???

Wanted to write a review of the amazing customer service of an employee named Kati in McKinleyville - what an asset she is to this company! - she goes above and beyond to help and assist the customers.. We will continue to donate and shop at this location

I think it's a great little shop!! Especially considering the cause!! " Resue Thrift Store" the name speaks for itself... Raising money for innocent animals... injured, homeless, hungry and in much need of shelter and care.... The store's selection is wonderful because it's all based on a cause!! Friendly & hard working staff ... Obviously with big hearts and for this we thank you

As far as the Miranda's go this one lacks organization and amazing prices. There always seems to be someone on their first day at the job at the counter. I'm not sure what that says. Still I found some things.

I have shopped regularly at miranda's in Mckinleyville for many years. I am never disappointed. I always find good items that I've been needing and at a good price. Recently I found a duo-fold shirt from LLBean in very good shape for about $5.00-I was shocked, but then, it was one of their everyday slashed prices on certain items (half-price); it was one thing I'd needed. I get a lot of different kinds of items; I always peruse the whole store. One of the clerks was very kind to me when I had to wait for a tow-truck; she let me wait inside the store and even brought me a chair. I will always patronize this store.

Came in here on Thursday morning to shop and was disappointed and disgusted listening to the employees and some older patrons talking about people who "ride the short bus" and making disparaging remarks about the homeless. It's no secret that there is a large population of people who are unhoused, but to make fun of those who this business claims to want to help is awful and in poor taste. Making fun of those that have disabilities is also never ok and there really is no excuse for those kind of remarks. McKinleyville is a small community and this is no way to run a business. The employees were absolutely not being quiet about their opinions and even though I come and support Miranda's often, I will no longer be shopping at this location. Please do better. Maybe these particular employees should not work for a place of business that helps those that are less fortunate and are "different" from them.

New manager enjoys his job and it shows. The place is still a thrift store but is more fun to visit now and inventory seems to be rotating quicker.

Today , Friday November 4th @ 5:40 pm , I had the shock of witnessing the young man working for the second time in 5 mins announce the closing of the store . But he didn't stop there he went on loudly about how he's had people there not wanting to leave. Then he announced he would be locking the door pushing his panic button and have the 6 customers left in the store arrested rather rudely and angrily. Mind you it was 20 mins to close. He stated he wanted to be somewhere else not there. I have seen many young people who lack basic common sense but he was in need of having his position that was obviously not honestly earned but rather handed taken away and punished . He was a rude j*** we used to come in all the time but we will be going somewhere else as long as the mannerless customer threatening ****ole works there.

Fridays are 50 cents on lots of the clothes in bc the store. Wish they would be more willing to negotiate on their prices considering they got the stuff donated and they can afford to take less

Rude. Called and asked if they had bookshelves and the woman on the phone goes 'no but we have an entertainment center, okay?' in kind of a hurried, snide way and i said okay thank you and she just hung up as if I wasnt worth her time.

I love this thrift store now they got rid of that red headed witch. It used to really suck she would keep stuff for her friends and tell you it wasn't for sale!! Thank goodness the new people there are super nice. They treat you with respect and don't hover around you like your a thief like that other lady they have all kinds of stuff and it's always different so well worth a look whenever you have the chance.
