This place is really hit and miss, prices may be higher. This place only feels necessary for beer and cigarettes really, if this store was anywhere else I'd doubt it would survive, nonetheless it is convenient for the high school students who want chips or sodas before or after school. Dont get me wrong the ppl who work there are great but just make sure what you buy isn't expired,broken. And don't buy the tap water its horrid from the tap, it had a very strong taste of chlorination.

I work this store for month after coming from Honduras. Akram no pay me because he say I do not go to mosque. He not pay me for whole month. He said allah say no pay non-muslims. I sacred and left the job because he tell me he call immigration.

The service has been mediocre at best. One too many times, I caught the owner/clerk engaging in illicit sexual activity in a space next to the freezers. The products are overpriced and expired frequently. If you have the time, I suggest that you drive to Delano or Wasco.
