A woman employee came to help and she seemed more the expert, seasoned staff member casting a large shadow on th poor young man, but again, it all worked out. “First time in this location. Thought it was just great. Good to have a store in the neighborhood as East Sac Hardware closed down a year or two again. Found both items I was looking for yesterday. They do have a nice variety of inventory. I found the staff attentive and looking to help customers. Parking was decent although they do seem to allow Trader Joes customers to park in their lot and can see how that could be a problem as it was not just a few I witnessed (and you can tell by the location of cars in the lot). I will certainly be back and absolutely give this Ace Hardware two thumbs up.”

“I've been coming here regularly for several months now as I renovate my home. It is literally the best hardware store I've been to for customer service and knowledgeable help. Folks are friendly and always help me find what I need. Last night, two gentlemen stayed late to help me when I came in 5 min. before closing to help me troubleshoot a 75-year old faucet that did not want to come off the pipes. I have to say the absolute best is Cheryl who is often at the front counter. She is super friendly and really goes above and beyond to be helpful. She's also full of great knowledge and has helped me tackle renovation problems more than once. Customer service is hard (been there, done it) but folks here do a great job. That's why I come here first. I only go to box stores if Capitol Ace doesn't have what I need (they are a smaller store). To the employees: I appreciate you!”

“The staff at Barnes welding is fantastic. I brought an old wore out MIG welding Torch ca looking for some parts and the guys behind the counter spent quite a while trying to figure out what unit we had. Parts were no longer available for the old Tweco Torch. The Miller 130 welder was really old so I went ahead and bought a brand new Hobart 140 unit Which is much more convenient than the old monster. LOL I have been very happy with a new machine and I have always used Barnes welding as my favorite welding store and you should too thanks so much William and Jamie”
