3400 E South St, Lakewood“First time Ive been in the store and honestly I was blown away. It's clearly an old Costco inside but it's been converted into a giant supermarket.
The first thing you'll notice is the prices, especially on things like produce are dramatically less than even Walmart. Every paper and canned good has a WinCo generic brand for a fraction of the price. They also sell cat food, bird seed, granola and cooking supplies in bulk. They even managed to sneak in a honey/peanut butter maker from when Whole Foods was actually worth it.
And then there are the employees. A quick Google tells me the entire store is employee owned and operated. The employees, accordingly don't have the walking dead look like Vons or Target workers do. They are actually quite cheerful and helpful. The whole place gives off vibes of what grocery stores were like in the 80s, but with less cigarette smoke.
5/5 will be returning.”
“Busy parking lot with restaurants and a gym. Nice, big and clean store with lots of options, a good sushi counter, deli, and bakery. I'm so happy they built this store. I really disliked going to the Ralph's across the street.”
“A shop with good selection of pakistani products, I always come and shop here to buy groceries. Halal meat at good price is available too. Great customer service!”
“My special place. Today it was raining. They took care of all my needs for necessities; from veggies to dairy, juices, bread, cupboard supplies, lunch meats and freezer meats. Can't beat, great quality, $ savings! COOL BEANS?️?”
“It's a great market .Unfortunately you have to shop early for vegetables ,fruits, meats ,and bread. If you are not early these selves will be empty .But ,a good place to shop”
“Went around 5:30pm. Was not crowded. Clean. Great selection of fruits and vegetables with good pricing. Good selection of ready to go and bake or microwave at home selection. Great selection of frozen shrimp. Whole frozen lobsters. Cheese cake slices...etc.”
“I've been going here for years and love this market. everyone's super friendly and you get to know peoples names are really fantastic little community market. The butcher department is great and the wine department is also super if you ask them to carry something for you sometimes they will how cool is that?”
“Many things in this market is either overpriced or doesn't even have a price tag. Countless things that I wanted to buy but didn't because they didn't show a price and I'm one of those shoppers that does the math when I shop. If I don't know the prices I'm not going to waste time bringing stuff to the register to only find out that the items are overpriced and I don't want them or something. Other than that, the employees are friendly. The place is always clean.”

“this is my go-to market for korean food!! really fresh produce and the prices are soooo good. from their fresh food section, i love the grilled mackerel, japchae, and the gimbap. be warned that the gimbap line gets very long during lunch time.”
“They sell some pretty cool stuff pretty cheaply, they used to have only a few items, however now the store is filled of variation, it is a pretty decent place to go to.”

240 W Main St, Alhambra“They are for the most part a clean, organized, good customer service employees. I go there when we're playing the lottery scratchers, and cigarettes. There are times when I'll grab a fountain drink. They also sell Krunxky Chicken there. They have Chicken Legs, Thighs, and Chicken Tenders. They have specials like 3.Tenders, a small side, and a regular drink .for like $7 bucks. And let's not leave out the Hot Cocoa, and Cappuccino. A little bit of small of a smaller version of a 711 but I do however co-sign for this place of business for this is Chuy aka Jesse Vara Viramontes signing off for now from Alhambra Town, just adjacent to where I grew up in The Hood, aka San Gabriel Mission District. VSG13 with Respect.”

1930 W 7th St, Los Angeles“It's a nice little neighborhood store. The people running it are nice, friendly and helpful. They have a pretty decent selection of merchandise available. If they don't have exactly what you want, you can find something that will work. There's street parking and it's even easier to walk to.”

1725 E 7th St, Los Angeles“Like this store. I've been going here for several years now. Although there is a closer store of this network. Convenient location of goods. There are always lots of promotions. Large assortment, you can find almost anything. There are also bulk products such as meat, chicken, fish, salads, pickles, cold meats, cheeses and sweets. You can say no cons, except for ever-growing prices, but this is clearly not a question for the store.”
9AM - 9PM
1403 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia“This is the place for low prices on dairy, snacks and gelato and unique imported food and products sans chemical additives most other companies allow . I was so impressed by the service today it was remarkable ...I saw a guy going to town on stocking produce and he knew that store like the back of his hand. I believe his name was Christopher but that gentleman knew the layout and ins and outs of the store like you wouldn't believe ! He's got just the right amount of people skills is focused and got the job done ! The store skips on piping in music so it's actually nice for neurodivergent people and it's got wide enough isles for those who maybe in wheelchairs or scooters... I like it!”
“JONS is great because they have many of the items that Armenians like me are looking to buy that other larger grocery stores do not stock. Such as: Armenian bread, eggplant spreads, Piknik cheese, fish roe, etc.Although I know I can get these things from some of the smaller Armenian stores nearby, sometimes I prefer going to a larger grocery store like this because it is not a super cramped tiny store and there is plenty of parking at all times.”
“There's a lot of things that I can buy there, and avoid traveling to a grocery store, and standing in a long line with people. I love the way they remodeled the store, and they have just about everything I need, even my pet's food.”
“Love this store. Been coming here since the age of 5 years old and I'm 29 now. You can find everything you need here and it's super cheap! They sell fruits, vegetables, drinks, medicine, candy, meat, bread, chips, snacks, Mexico products, energy drinks, laundry stuff, perosnal hygine and much more!”
“Very kind and honestly found so many great things. Markets like these are so authentic to the neighborhoods as well I just appreciate it a lot as a latina who enjoys Asian food and snacks. Hard to budget here when you end up finding so many cool things !”
“I used to live in the area but I still take a drive out here to get my smoothies. Daniel provides great service, he always knows how to get my super green smoothie on point. Thank you!”
“Mexican market with lots of produce, prepared foods, hand made fresh salsa, fried chicken for little or big parties, wedge fries, fresh fried tortilla chips, guacamole in various ways, spicy, non-spicy, meat, deli, bread, cakes, snacks, cookies, even charcuterie supplies. Of course, it has all the ingredients to make your favorite Mexican food, and then some. It's my go-to for quick party food, potluck on the fly, no time? No problem. They were open Christmas day until 6 pm. Whew!!!”
7AM - 8:45PM
1605 S Hoover St, Los Angeles“I am Frederick Martin. I am Security Officer. I worked at the CVS on Hoover and Washington. One day on my way to work I stopped in this market, and I was blown away. The meat department selection was amazing!!! The meats in that department were the best I had had since I been in Los Angeles and the meat butchers cut any of the meats just the way you like it. One other thing, I have a thing for all vegetables. Yummy. The produce was so superb!!!!. It was so fresh and beautiful, and the produce clerks are always attending to it. Damn near want you to eat it raw right then. I need to mention something else about the meats, once you freeze it and thaw it out, it doesn't get tough to whereas you have to 'doctor' it up, nor does it lose its original taste or texture. All of the staff are so very friendly and helpful too. Even outside in the front of the entrance they have more produce of fruit and it's all well taken care of. You can't find one rotten piece, not like in your major chain markets. Now yes, parking is an issue, because the strip mall is very small, but right across the street is a Subways and a laundry mat where you can park. With that being stated this is a community-based area and they really support their businesses. No hassle. I brag about them and support them 1000%.”
“Kind family owned business for more than 20 years, they are always understanding and kind. The meat is delicious and very active in the community. 10/10 it is always good to support small businesses since they are a rare commodity these days!”
“This is my go to grocery store if I need stuffs that aren't selling at normal grocery stores. Got the fish sauce that I like. Great variety of Meats selections and fish.”

“More for hot food purchase on sat mornings than anything. Grocery selection is minimal compared to other Thai markets. The food selection has good variety but goes FAST- be there early.”
“I grew around this store and its one of the only ones left since I was a child....so many trips with my mom to this store to buy food to make dinner!...it's not the fanciest, but I promise u they have a lil bit of everything...their CarniceriaIs great..it's a family owned small business and they're still there for a reason...really friendly people....I pretty much go every 2 days at least....lol”

601 Virgil Ave, Los Angeles“This is a very classy and inexpensive supermarket in our city. My mother asked me to purchase some products for our needs last week. I was really happy that the sales lady was able to support me. She's very welcoming. All the stuff I needed was available, plus the price was fair. You are waiting for me to visit your store again.”
“If you are ever in the Montebello area you must visit this family owned Armenian market. They carry puri bread from the famous San Fernando Valley Victory Bread bakery brought in fresh daily. They also sell homemade hummus, tabouli, dolmas and other items. They have a great assortment of feta cheeses. The owners are the sweetest!”
“Come here for the snacks and drinks. Nice little place that is kept clean and up to date. There are groceries you can buy like vegetables and bacon and milk and they are always fresh and same as you'd get from the supermarket so that's convenient. I like their candy selection too.”
