If you have some place to urgently be, don't get in the "one-lane only", pharmacy drive thru; you'll be waiting forever. Pack a lunch. Also, Walgreens sending you an email that your Rx is ready for pick up, means absolutely nothing!!! I received an email stating the day and time to pick up my order. I go to the pharmacy drive-thru on Saturday, wait for nearly 30 minutes, only to get to the window and be told my Rx will be available on Monday after 5pm. *Sigh* I return on Monday after 5p, wait in the drive thru for close to 45 mins; again, only to be told THIS TIME to come back in "30mins to an hour". *Screams* Why send an email telling me to come pick it up if the pharmacy staff knows it's not ready to be picked up?!? Where are the wires getting crossed between the pharmacy staff and the system-generated emails? Close down this Walgreens and put a CVS or a pharmacy with an organized system of records & staff in its place.

This is the worst pharmacy in Martinez. ZERO communication with your provider if there was an issue. Told to come back in 30 minutes because my order wasn't ready after having surgery, and when I returned later was told they were out of the medications prescribed by the surgeon. What a waste of a day. Now I'm sitting at home without an asthma inhaler, wheezing, without any pain medication post surgery and I'm hoping they restock tomorrow. Go to CVS instead. This place sux

Hated this pharmacy so much the Asian lady with glasses and blonde highlights at the front is very prejudice and will make minority’s feel uncomfortable and unwanted she was unprofessional with me and made my experience there horrible beside her rude attitude I felt so bad when she said order for spic and proceed to point at me to let me know that was prescription . Never going to this pharmacy from hell again.

I wish I could give this place no stars it was a terrible experience having to go to this pharmacy. I would not recommend it for anybody. I highly recommend you change your pharmacy if this is your pharmacy because they are very very incompetent at the jobs that they’re doing, and specially the Asian girl with the glasses with the yellow streaks in her hair. She told me I could come pick up my partial prescription and then when I picked it up and I went back to pick up the rest, she told me I couldn’t get it because my doctor needed to put in another prescription After she told me that I was able to get it if I came back So I waited till the 13th and when I got there, she said that my doctor needed to send a whole new order for it even though she told me my doctor would not have to do that. And the pharmacist is even more incompetent than his workers.

I don’t even know how to start, and they don’t deserve a single star. My prescriptions have been transferred from Rite Aid, since they closed down, and my nightmares started then. For some reason Walgreens pharmacy got my date of birth wrong, so they couldn’t refill my prescription. They made me call my insurance, because my word was not enough. My insurance had to call them to get, but now my date of birth is not the issue, my medication is out of stock and they say I have to call other Walgreens to find out if they have it. WHAT IN THE WORLD!!!!! They had me running around since yesterday. The person that was working yesterday had no idea what the problem with my prescription was…anyway, this place is a joke. Transferring my prescriptions somewhere else, the level of disrespect I feel is huge.

Like most have stated the pharmacy is horrible and we can confirm it. The pharmacy hours that they have posted on the website aren’t the ones they actually work. We visited the MedNow urgent care center that’s right across the street and they sent a script to them and when we got there they were locked up tighter than Ft Knox. This is exactly why people have stopped using their local pharmacies and that’s because they do t exist anymore. We are call g the doc in the morning and just have it sent somewhere else for filling. Hurt them where it counts folks and that is in the wallet. If they close they close and the only person they can blame is themselves.

This pharmacy needs a disaster declaration. Call in the National Guard because this pharmacy is underwater with inadequate capacity. They are constantly operating far below the demand load, creating massive delays. Some staff are quick but too few, others unfortunately combine inexperience with slow learning. I spent a total of 6 hours there over the course of two days waiting for them to fill the little bottles with pills. Management needs to step in and direct additional resources here stat, as in code blue. Meanwhile, I'm dabbling with Amazon Pharmacy.

This store is the absolute worst for getting prescriptions. They never answer their phones and do not update prescription status. Every time I try to refill they say I need to speak to a pharmacist and am put in hold indefinitely until I finally give up. There store manager not proactive to resolving issues. I will be writing the corporate offices and filing a formal complaint. I would give zero stars unfortunately it won’t let you

The pharmacy here is not managed very well. Got an appointment at 11:45am and made me wait 30 minutes. While waiting they called me on my cellphone just to tell me that insurance doesn't cover it rather than telling me at the counter.

Waited on hold for 1 hour and 45 minutes to check if a script was ready for my 3 year old who has a severe ear infection before hanging up and just going in person. Prescription was sent in early AM I came at 6:00PM. After waiting in line for 45 minutes I was told it would another hour or two and to just come in the morning. Now my 3 year old has to go even longer without medication because of this place. I am transferring all future prescriptions to another pharmacy. I will never step foot in this place again. No one should.

This is specific to the pharmacy. There is always something wrong with the pharmacy hours, drive through not working, extended waits for medications, and closing early / closed unexpectedly. It’s clear they are extremely short staffed, but it’s insane that ya operating at all at this rate

I’m beyond fed up with how delayed this pharmacy is. My 2 y/o was prescribed antibiotics for an ear infection at 2:45pm, and at 8pm the rx STILL WASN’T READY. For a basic antibiotic, nothing complicated. Drive thru is appealing, and staff have always been nice, but they clearly need help and are severely back logged. You can get your rx faster by walking into other pharmacies. If you can wait a day or two for an rx, then this is for you. But being prescribed something for an acute issue and the rx not being ready for over 5 hours is ridiculous.
