DO not rent from this location! We had some rain on our moving day and the move took an hour longer than we thought. We even had professional movers to speed along the process, but rain happens. They double booked the truck with zero buffer, and were SO rude when I tried to call back. They hung up on me twice. I know these places make money on utilization but even hotels and rental car places have a buffer between rentals to account for cleaning, traffic, etc. So unprofessional. Rent from another location!

I’ve rented from U-Haul before. The U-Haul at Pacheco Mini Storage was great. I was pleased with the customer service, the simplicity to pick up/drop off the van. I’ll rent from them from now on, when needed.

BEWARE... UNSAFE. VERY DANGEROUS. We called to verify our rental and move up our pickup time by about a half hour. My wife was hung up on once, and the staff was incredibly rude to her. We drove no more than 10 miles and the tire started hissing air. We called the uhaul dealer and they informed us that it was our problem and that we would have to pay for it. Also that we still needed to make our allotted drop off time. When we got the tire off the truck it is readily apparent that the tires are old and cracking. (I have many photos) It is my responsibility to check the outside of the car for damage. It is uhaul's job to supply me with a safe working vehicle. On top of the tire, the check engine light was on saying it needed an oil change. The odometer on the truck was less than 10,000 miles and they clearly put old tires on a newer truck and have no care about customer safety. I am incredibly unhappy with both the lacking customer service and the negligence to not check the safety of the vehicle before renting it and then blaming me. It completely sidetracked our day and could have been easily avoided if employees had completed their commitments. I raised concerns with uhaul and they ignored me for a month.

Vary bad customer service my grandmother had a appointment to pick up a truck at 9:00 we went in the lady at the counter was rude to her and said we don't have one tell 10:30. Needless to say we went some where else.

Just went in to purchase some boxes and tape. When I asked the gal at the counter, she noted that all of the boxes behind her were a new delivery, and weren't available as they needed to be added to the system first, so what she had available out of ALL of the boxes behind her were two large boxes. Period. So, I asked again, 'so you can't sell me any of those boxes?' - 'No, not until they're in the system.' There was NO ONE else there. So input a stack, and let me buy them. Or, write it down on a post it, and input it later. Something. Some, any, amount of actual customer service would go a long way. But nope. No boxes for you (me). Idk, maybe she's not allowed to input them or something... but that was seriously ridiculous.

I booked a uhaul truck through a customer service representative that arranged for pick up and drop off from this Martinez location. I was called by Ashley to be informed that the business was closed on the day we scheduled to return the vehicle. Instead of offering solutions to this issue, Ashley proceeded in a rude and aggressive manner - interrupting me when asking questions, and reiterating the purpose of the call was to tell me that the business was closed. Although I had made the booking over the phone, she insisted that I had done it online, and should have seen the legal stipulations that the businesses had the right to make changes to the reservation. I tried to explain my confusion, as I did not book this online and the customer service representative that I worked with made no mention of this office being closed. It was difficult to convey this information though, as Ashley continued to interrupt during this explanation. When it was clear that Ashley had no intention of listening or trying to talk through this issue, I asked to speak to a manager in order to discuss more productive options, (as our situation did not allow us to return the vehicle the day before, and we didn't care to be charged for an extra day due to this misunderstanding). I was told no, and to call the customer service center again if I wanted to book from another location. This feedback would have been fair, if not delivered in such an offensive manner. When speaking to the scheduling department, I was told the truck we had reserved at Martinez had already been released from my reservation and was no longer available - leaving the only other truck available for our dates over an hour away. I've since been able to resolve this issue through the scheduling department (thank you!), but would hate for any other customer to feel as offended and upset as I felt after my encounter with Ashley. In our experience, Uhaul has had such great customer service, it's a shame that this individual is far out of alignment with these standards. I hope some additional training can be provided to teach better troubleshooting, listening, and seeking to help resolve customer issues in the future, without causing such offense.

Great customer service from Ashley! She needs a raise. Calls me back just to inform me on a mistake we made so I wouldn't have to pay extra.

Super fast wait time. We got there earlier than the pick up time scheduled and booked for something else. When we got there we wanted to swap to a different car and they were very accommodating. The lady was super fast with the paperwork and there really was no hassle. Will def return if I need to.
