“Wonderful shop with super helpful staff. I haven't been to a comic book store in ages but stopped in to get some for the kids to inspire a little reading. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The selection was great! It is nice to see an awesome small business keeping alive the love of comics (and other stuff).”
“I drove 40 miles to check out this place, and I'm glad I did. When I arrived, I found that a couple of wild turkeys were waiting for the store to open ahead of me. They were kind enough to let me enter ahead of them. Once inside, I was immediately greeted by the owner, who apologized for not having any trains running yet. Can you believe it? They had been open for two whole minutes and hadn't started running trains yet. But before I could say, "all aboard," the owner had his Broadway Limited SP 4449 (HO) on the tracks, blowing its whistle and speeding down the layout. I toured the store and found a vast selection of locomotives, rolling stock, and everything anyone could possibly need to build a model railroad in any size, shape, or scale imaginable. As I walked around the store, I could hear the owner greeting customers and answering technical questions about the hobby off the top of his head. I spotted a few items that interested me and checked the interwebs for price comparisons. To my surprise, there wasn't a significant "brick-and-mortar tax." Pricing was fair. When you consider the investment necessary to maintain a well-stocked hobby shop, I'd say the place provides great value. I look forward to returning to Just Trains as I build my layout. Great service, great selection, and great value. Five stars!”
“Moments shared is such a gem here in Vallejo. Great prices, and it's so nice to bring in out- grown items and see what new things we can find. Follow on Facebook and sign up for emails so you can stay in the loop, find out what is being accepted, and times to come in. Support small businesses. This one is a special one! There are new items to buy if you're looking for gifts as well”

The staff is fabulous in helping you find the right book and if needed, can order and it comes quickly. I also if I buy from www.libro.fm instead of big box stores, it helps support my local shop and not big corporations. The shop has great book clubs. So find a club to meet new people, go to the shop and meet the wonderful staff, call, to order and always use www.libro.fm if buying online. The prices are the same as big box and it supports local.”

“Our son lost his transition object on christmas eve in Austria. Since Steiff stopped producing the model, i ve combed through the web to find a replacement and luckily this store still had one in stock. Ordering was simple and it saved Christmas and beyond. Thank you so much!”

1506 Walnut St, Berkeley“If you have a small grandchild and have not yet visited Dimples, you have a great treat in store. The story is visually the proverbial candy store, something good everywhere you look.In the three seasons since I discovered Dimples and became addicted, the owner/buyer, Tatiana, has not made a false move. Everything is not only adorable but completely wearable. Fabrics are soft; brands are specialty but affordable. There is lots of selection and a few perfect toys to round out birthday giving. There are also a few mom gifts; check out the earrings for yourself.I always wonder about incredibly positive reviews, so I assure you I did not know the owner until I wandered in the first time. I only have so many pictures [from two different visits] since I send then to my daughter to vet my choices. I only have little boys to buy for so the pictures may not amaze you. If you have a daughter or granddaughter....!”
“This is a smaller Barnes and Noble but they still manage to have a decent selection. You most likely won't find books that aren't as mainstream or popular but they always have new releases and events. The staff is friendly, helpful, and the store is clean.”

“Came in on Friday, July 26th around 11:30 am and was greeted by who I believe to be the store manager. She was very welcoming and inviting. One of the staff Phyllis was also really wonderful and helpful! I was short with time and Aiden helped me laminate everything I needed to laminate. They were both delightful and super helpful! I enjoy coming here!”

“Still a fairly good place to shop for anime figures & gunpla kits if in ur neck of the woods their sister store Anime Near me has tons of anime and gunpla kits and more selections too, if ya'll don't mind making a trip u won't regret it”
“The Lawrence Hall of is an amazing place! Perfect place for kids to explore and play. Different aspects of science to appease whatever mood he's in and keep him engaged and curious. I love all of the hands on activities and fun ways to learn science concepts. It's not filled with a bunch of exhibits with reading and pictures only, but actual activities with included supplies or high quality displays to touch. Only thing I would change would the food selection. The cafe has been closed and the snacks in the gift shop are hardly foods that any responsible parent would give their kids (the most nutritious thing is a lunchable or protein pack with almonds and cheese). The rest are chips/candy/cookies. So bring your own lunch.”

4425 Treat Blvd Suite K, Concord“First of all, I am grateful that stores like this exist. As other reviewers said it is a bit chaotic in there, but there is a rhyme and reason to how everything is organized. Although the selection is small, they do have every size for both boys and girls and the condition of everything I've seen from clothes, to shoes, toys, gear, and books has always been good to great. I've never left without finding something wonderful. I think the prices are very fair, maybe a dollar or two above thrift stores, sometimes on par with thrift stores. I have both purchased things for my son, and sold baby gear (clothes, swings, a pack n play) that he's outgrown. She is currently only giving store credit, which again I totally understand as I imagine retail is rough right now. A phone number would be helpful as I always want to check before loading up bigger items, but she's always been open during store hours and I have never regretted a trip down. Also it would be great if you could share what you're currently in need of, so regulars could more regularly pop in with new inventory.”

129 Plaza Dr, Vallejo“We loved it ? my son and wife got phone covers and other odds and ends. I got two baseball caps (Grogu and Demon Slayer) for $5 each. Most items are $5. Saw $3 , $1, $10 and candy at 10 for $1 ? thankfully this location opened last November ??”
“Came here while visiting my brother in town and the store has a really nice collection of dice. A little low on figurines when I visited, but Heather was so nice at the front!! They immediately clocked me as someone that would enjoy textured dice and helped me pick some beautiful dragon scale dice. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again.”
