I had used Tom for years and decided to give his associate a try when my tax situation changed this year. Unfortunately, he completely blew off my taxes even after I made an appointment early in February to avoid high season and brought him all my information. He said they would be done the following week. In the following months, I made numerous calls to the office with empty promises of a follow-up. Not once did anyone call me back. The best I got was some b.s. about all the rain and that I now had until October to file. Guess what? I managed to do my job all winter despite the weather and I don't want to file an extension. I wanted the task completed, off my mind and off my desk. I finally had to start over and resort to Turbo Tax. Unfortunate, as I would have much preferred to work with a real, live professional to support the industry and small business in general. Instead, I had to do my taxes twice. Perhaps they give better (any?) service to established or high-dollar clients. I obviously didn't matter.

This is a great Martinez business! I value that it is Family owned, family throughout! I went for my taxes with what I thought were many complexities and I had many fears! Teresa was very knowledgeable. We started at the beginning and she led me through all my tax papers. She asked about things that were helpful that I had not thought of. She told me about the Gov COVID payout which I had no idea was available. She knew all about my Covered CA insurance. She had so much information that I needed and that helped in my tax refund. I danced home and have been so happy since. I forgot to even ask about a fee, but I dont care. I am a new loyal customer.

I have been coming to Jegan and Jordan for almost 12 years. Tom was my life saver as it related to my taxes. When he retired I was nervous to say the least. But Teresa, who stepped in when Tom left has been an absolute DREAM!
