“I felt the Location was nice. Staff not overly friendly, they do their job. Maids cleaned our room daily, we were pleased with service. Ice machine on all floors, self laundry, breakfast included - comparable to holiday inn. They also had a waffle maker.”

“Erik is the best thing going in P.Hill. He went above and beyond to accommodate us with our needs. Erik made sure we had extra blankets and towels. He brought us all the kitchen supplies we needed for a week long stay. As for the place itself. Squeaky beds, cigarette burns on the bath tub and counter surrounding the sink. No wifi on Wednesday. No elevators on Sunday. But all in all we made the best of it. Now all they need is a hot tub and pool.”

“Stayed here for 1 night. Came after hours but called ahead as instructed to do so in the reservation. Staff was super nice and met me after hours to give me the room information and key. The room was very clean and at a better price than the corporate hotels around the area. Would stay again.”

“The room was great and clean. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, and there was coffee available at the front desk every morning. About a 15 minute walk to BART. My main drawbacks were that the shower drained too slowly, so water would pool at my feet, no shampoo or conditioner was provided, and there were leaves in the pool. Overall it was a good value and there was no major issues.”

“This is a standard Residence Inn with fantastic staff. Rooms are new and in good shape. Beds are comfortable (all kings). Gym was especially nice. Kitchens worked. Staff was amazing and and a special shout out to the folks who laid out the breakfast (simple but well done) and the valet staff (fast friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area).

Two complaints:

The showers are dumb and laid out so that the bathroom floor will get soaked. And the light switches are very bright at night. Bring an eye mask if that bothers you.

Rooms: Well appointed but utilitarian.

Nearby activities: You're right by the BART. A few restaurants walkable. Downtown Walnut Creek is an outdoor mall. 15-20 minutes to Berkeley and Oakland with no traffic.

Safety: Neighborhood felt very safe even walking around early in the morning.

Walkability: You're right by the BART. Walk toma few restaurants and Target.

Food & drinks: Free breakfast is fine (eggs, potatoes, sausage, bread, cereal yogurt). Coffee was pretty decent!”

“We stayed for the second time In a year. Our room, 226 was fine up until the last day/night when the bathroom sink had slowed up to drain out ( we did not rinse dishes with food on them..gross. only for brushing teeth) . We also had a wi-fi issue with the connection after we signed in, that was ANNOYING and my husband was irritated. We did not have a problem on our last stay, hence the 3 star rating.Walkability: There are walking trails nearby. One trail, IronHorse trail will take you to downtown if you are willing to walk a little over 2 miles to reach some outdoor shops, restaurants.”

“Employees are extremely kind and courteous. Very flexible and very genuinely, just trying to make your stay as positive as possible. Anytime I had a request or question, they were always incredibly kind and accommodating. They also have done a good work of renovation. Personally, I think it looks great. The rooms are equally as acceptable. For the price, it's a no brainer. It's also right smack into one of the "downtown" walnut creek/plesant hill areas. Plenty of grocery, restaurant, convenience, gas, takeout available within walking distance. The entrance of the hotel is a bit of a sharp turn, just drive slower when getting close and your Navi should direct you into the driveway just fine.”

“My bedroom had a loose power outlet on the right near the lamp/light and I couldn't use it for anything without it falling so I brought my own power strip.Rooms: Good sized rooms for people who need it. I got the 2 bedroom room and it was enough for 3 adults and 1 kid with an extra pull out bed from the center couch if needed. Decent sized kitchen with stovetop, oven, and microwave combo. Dishwasher with soap and dishwasher pods. Island in the kitchen with 2 tall chairs for the table top island. 2 trash cans and I had a bigger trashcan outside my room. There were 3 T.Vs one in each room/bedroom the biggest one being in the living room.Nearby activities: Grass patch for dogs to poop, pee, zoomies, etc. Near a business park with a pond and fountain in the pond. Walking path for the pond and a lot of areas to get out and exercise (walking). All year round pool down to 4ft and basketball court and volleyball courts in summer.Walkability: Read above ^Food & drinks: Continental breakfast on weekdays from: 6am-9am and on weekends they serve it from 7am-10am. Some variety of food choices and good to go ability.”

“Review is just for the coffee shop downstairs. Needed a quick cup of joe for a ride across the bay and this place was conveniently located across the street. Came in and got a cafe au lait which was creamy and delicious. The space is a little tight and can't really fit more than 1-2 people by the entrance and once you order and pay, there are just a few tables indoors that you can choose to sit at.”

“Clean standard Holiday Inn rooms. Our first room was in a horrible location by an exterior door that kept slamming . Went to front desk and De Andre was super polite and helpful and got us moved to a better location. Greatly appreciated his helpful service. Was quiet in hotel, didn’t hear other guests moving around. Breakfast was mediocre but edible. Bagels a bit stale. Sausage and egg omelets were fine and several yogurt options, fruit and cereal appeared to be available. Only other hitch we had was when coming back later one night none of the side doors worked with our key card. Ended up walking around most of the building to get to front entrance.”

“Hotel does not swimming pool. Looks like they got it out. They say it was Courtyard previously and Sonesta bought it. Hotel is nice and cozy. Staff are nice too. Like water station fused with lemons. Will come back next month.”

“1)$100 CASH ONLY DEPOSIT.2) Laundry on 2nd floor3) Absolutely no visitors allowed without ID. Paid the guy upwards of 900, still not allowed to have any guests who do not show ID at front desk.4) Pet FEE is $20. It is NOT a deposit.5) Just like last time I stayed here a month ago POOL is not in service.. not available..it was 93° today. So that sucks. Well it's available to look at... And for the record it looks clean and clear and refreshing and lovely. But all you're going to be doing is looking at it.Helpful enough, able to check out a hairdryer at front desk and gave me a comp toohbrush. At 2 a.m. you can stand out front and watch the paisas and their pretty girls stumble in making out like high schoolers, as well as, vehicles speed by, loudly revving doing50- 80 mi an hour. NO concern for any cops. Nor did I see even one cop, so I guess these people know their neighborhood well.”

“There are great advantages to staying one night at the Marriott Napa, but there are many downsides. I think the elevator needs to be replaced. The waiting time is not only bad, but the thumping noise is also very bad.

The parking lot was spacious and very nice. Parking is free.

Breakfast was clean and nice to eat.
I was able to have a very delicious meal thanks to the friendly staff.

The room is equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee, and there is a space where you can lightly eat or do laundry.

It was a bit dusty because it was a carpet, but it looked like it needed to be kept clean. It would be nice to remodel (floor).”

“I was pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel was. The price was fair, and they do not charge a huge extra fee for parking your car (only $7). The room was very large with a great kitchen. It was very clean. There were a few minor issues (pillows could be firmer & breakfast could be better), but overall a very comfortable place. With taxes, etc it came to $184. In the Bay Area that is a good price!”

“Great hotel, only complaints is the cleaning. It's every 2 days and not daily. Breakfast is amazing and free the room is very good. The air-conditioning is nice and strong. Rooms are very clean as well! I recommend it.”

“Stayed here for 3 nights after having moved from my apartment without having an alternative permanent location to relocate too.

Service was exceptional, I wasn't bothered or harassed for having guests over or coming in and out at very early and very late hours.

The location has many businesses within a very short walking distance and is is located on one of the most frequented roads in Concord. Getting on a bus or getting to bart is very easy.

Now as far as the rooms... Very nice compared to places like the Premier also located in Concord or The Lodge located in Martinez. A single bed room ran me $130 per night, not in the discounted range but the rooms are very nice, I had hard wood floors, tile kitchen and bathroom, a heater/AC combo unit that pumped out heat with no issues. It was very quiet and I felt like I didn't have to worry about making management angry or regret serving me.”

“I stayed at the Carquinez Inn for two nights and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The balcony was a nice touch, and the wifi was reliable. The hotel also has a garden and a terrace, which are great for relaxing. The location is convenient, close to the Carquinez Strait and the Mare Island Naval Shipyard. The price was very reasonable for the value. The only downside was the noise from the nearby road, which could be bothersome at night. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Carquinez Inn and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent and affordable place to stay in Vallejo.”
